mkecrew Posted August 8, 2017 Share Posted August 8, 2017 Brees has another strong chance to reach 5000 yards passing. He's done it 5 times during his career. Brady has only reached 5000+ yards once back in 2011. Brees & Brady should both put up 30+ TD's however Brees will most likely throw more INT's. Last year Brees threw 15 to Brady's 2. Depending on your league and the point values they assess it depends what you are willing to give. Brees will give you more yards but more INT's, and Brady will be more accurate and less INT's. Based on these variables I personally would go with Brady. The ability to win games in NE is huge. As long as Brady is under center he is choice to go with. The edge is that Brees probably has an easier schedule which is partly because the division is weaker on the defense side than NE imho. with that said he'll flirt with 5k+ again, Brady might have the edge in TD total's. also if you're penalized for INT's probably Brady could slim that margin even more, Brees gun slings more. hair splitting session /end.
