michaelredd9
Is anyone else worried? Foot injuries that are initially diagnosed as minor often end up actually being serious. Teams often give an optimistic opinion to the public while knowing the situation is likely far worse. Part of what worries me is that they have been so vague in describing the injury. Is it a minor sprain or is it the dreaded LisFranc? If it were just a minor sprain, I think they would tell us. I'm not touching him. He already has a limited ceiling because of a likely low reception total. Add to that the not insignificant chance that this is actually a serious foot injury and there is no way I will draft him. CowboysDiehard
Agree, I'm planning to avoid him as well. The RB-starved leagues I play in usually see rookie RBs going a bit early (due to keeper factors). He's definitely not worth an early round pick with that type of injury, even if it turns out to be minor. Dalvin Cook, though....hmmmmmm.... loaf
I avoided him in my only real draft so far
michaelredd9
The Jaguars also have a bit more incentive to lie and drag us along since they are a team who is still selling tickets for this season's games. Clearly, Fournette is a draw for potential ticket buyers.
stethant
I'm right there with you. I'm still smarting from Abdullah last year so when I hear "foot injury" I start to twitch. Could be nothing but at his cost I'd rather dial down the risk.
