colkurtz
Non contact, looked like hyperextended knee. He was my only sound draft pick. Can't afford to lose him.
Montana is da Man
Non contact..........any chance it was an ACL? I lost Rodgers today, I can't afford to lose Fournette too
DMD
Looked weird. Non-contact. Hopefully hyper-extended and not ligament damage.
colkurtz
Conflicting reports on twitter, foot injury vs hyperextended knee. Here's the play. https://twitter.com/uSTADIUM/status/919696351667130370/video/
colkurtz
Crisis averted, apparently. Jags twitter feed: "Fournette (right ankle) will return to the game on the next offensive possession." https://mobile.twitter.com/jaguars/status/919696960814223360
ManchesterMatt
If he's injured, I'm handing my entry fee to our treasurer and leaving the league for the season. Him and Hopkins are the only shining light I have on my team.

Once you're 5-6 weeks in and somebody is frustrated and gives up, can be more difficult to collect from them.

Not to mention trying to collect right before the holidays, especially if there's a lot of cheddar involved.
NAUgrad
Soooo.....back to Fournette. Hopefully on pace to play this weekend. Seems to have become my only reliable player these days.
michaelredd9
Fournette didn't practice today. Not a big deal. But I still think there is a good chance he doesn't play on Sunday. The Jaguars have a week 8 bye. Fournette has gotten a lot of carries this season so having an extra week off would do him good. The Jaguars play the Colts this week so they should probably win without him. Also, teams often lie about the injury status of a player like Fournette. Defenses are going to prepare very differently for a Fournette-led offense versus a Fournetteless offense. I've been adding Chris Ivory in every league where he is available. Ivory is one of the few handcuffs that could become a legit stud if the starter goes down. In addition to his power run game, Ivory even has become adept as a receiver. He already has 16 receptions this year while only playing 38% of offensive snaps. That is impressive for a player who only had 5 total receptions in his first 4 years combined. With Fournette's heavy use and history of broken foots, there is at least a 25% chance that he'll get a season ending injury. That makes Ivory well worth a roster spot.
NAUgrad
exactly what I didn't want to hear. Figures though.

Officially the Jaguars are saying he is fine and playing. Players with the most minor of injuries will take Tuesday and Wednesday off of practice. I wouldn't get worried unless he misses practice on Thursday.
michaelredd9
Ruh roh Fournette (ankle) has 3rd-straight DNP Friday http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/12132/leonard-fournette Leonard Fournette (ankle) remained sidelined at Friday's practice. Fournette hasn't practice at all this week. He did run on Thursday and said he expected to play Sunday, but players' words are rather meaningless, as they all always they're going to play. Chris Ivory needs to be added in all formats if Fournette ends up not going against the Colts. We should have Fournette's official injury designation shortly. We're expecting him to be questionable. Still, I was able to nab Ivory in a two of three leagues (not in my main local, sadly, but those guys are a bunch of sharks). Fournette deserves a rest this week.
