chiefswarpath
KC signed Revis. I know Revis island has pretty much sunk into the ocean but does he have anything left? Is he decent enough to be #2 with an elite corner on the other side in MP22. All year teams have simply not thrown to Peters so Revis will see plenty of targets. Chiefs fans seem too optimistic about signing a 32 year old CB in week 12. Any Jets homers out there have an opinion? Your team is paying his salary which allowed us to sign him to vet minimum. stethant
This signing is the definition of "on tilt." Revis was cooked well before he retired and I guarantee Father Time hasn't made any of his problems better. If I was a Chiefs' fan I'd be very anxious right about now - not about Revis because he'll stink and that'll be the end of it - but about who the heck is making these decisions and when did they stop sniffing glue. bdub1988
Last time we saw Revis on the field he'd clearly lost a step. Couldn't cover any decent receivers one-on-one anymore. I wouldn't be happy about this signing if I were a chiefs fan. I'm certainly not happy as a Jets fan if we're paying for it...
darin3
Maybe I haven't done enough digging - which amounts to none, really - but was it said that he was automatically going to be their CB2 and/or play a significant number of snaps? If the Jets are paying his salary, why not bring in a once-stud vet who could mentor the younger guys and maybe give you a handful of snaps if it looks like he's still got a little left in the tank.
