Browns | WR impressed with Tyrod Taylor

Cleveland Browns WR Jarvis Landry said QB Tyrod Taylor was very impressive during offseason workouts and showed good accuracy and leadership during practice.

Playerspeak is even less reliable than coachspeak.  And wide receiver playerspeak is the least reliable when it comes to their quarterback because the receiver has a vested interest in staying on the quarterback's good side because he wants to be targeted.  But I like Tyrod Taylor.  He doesn't throw interceptions and produces a lot with his legs.  His rushing stats even make him a serviceable bye-week-filling fantasy quarterback.  But he has never thrown for a lot of yards or thrown a lot of touchdowns.  His risk averse tendencies will prevent him from throwing to a covered receiver and elite receivers need to be thrown to when they are covered if they are going to produce elite stats.  The Browns have a lot of quality receivers that are going to be sharing a small pie.  It probably isn't going to take long for Landry and Gordon to be asking behind the scenes for Tyrod to be replaced by Baker.

But fanspeak is 100% trustworthy ?

How will we know Landry and Gordon are doing that behind the scenes?

I'm more concerned about Gordon staying out of trouble than either guy being unhappy with Taylor.

Negatory.  Fanspeak is not reliable.  Fans speculate without any firsthand knowledge.  But a fan's opinion is honest.  Coachspeak and playerspeak are almost never completely truthful.  At best an exaggeration with rose-colored glasses, at worst a straight up lie.

It being secretive is implicit in the definition of "behind the scenes".  We won't know unless someone leaks that information.  We don't find out about most things that go on behind the scenes.  If the information is leaked, we still won't know if the leak is true.  For instance, we still don't know what really happened with the AJ McCarron trade debacle.
