BassMaster
Is Barkley for real? Or a bust? Just want to get input before Draft day comes along!

eags
He is for real. Has all the tools. Can catch, run, bounce to the outside, run between the tackles, great speed, and he will lower his shoulder when he has to.
gilthorp
Put him behind the Dallas OL and he would be a less annoying Zeke.
indyrckstar
Plays tonight supposedly. I think he is the real deal BUT I want to see what the OLine, Barkley, play calling, etc.. looks like. Hopefully get a better idea after today.
stethant
Well his first run was impressive - he should stop there and call it a career!
BassMaster
One run does not make a running back! But I want to see more, he has some moves! Could be great!!
stevegrab
Giants are major trouble if Eli gets hurt, Webb looked bad and their offense did nothing all game after that 40 yard run by Barkley.
loaf
Jonathan Stewart looked bad too. Barkley's a good one. That first run had me shaking my head, thinking here we go again...but after that, not much
T-Scorp
He has a brutal schedule early in the year VS Jag @ Dal @ Texans Vs Saints @ Carolina VS Eagles @ Falcons @ Washington Any concerns about limited productivity?
cadycadets
He could be a 4th quarter gem. I didn't see anything on either side of the ball to where they have improved much. He bounced outside on the first run but the ol and safety cut it off the second time he tried to do it. Everyone is just as fast as him in the NFL. The Giants linebackers were outrun by Njoku for the mismatch touchdowns and this was just facing the Browns Eli goes down like a sack of potatoes when pressured because he has no desire to run with the ball. I think they will be playing from behind most of the season and will have the dink and dunk offense going in the 4th quarter because the other teams will allow all the short stuff they want. Maybe Odell is enough to change the way the D has to play??
