forever in debt to mo lewis Posted August 12, 2018 Share Posted August 12, 2018 BOL to darnold and the jets...allen in buffalo too.....im tired of hearing that the afc is so weak and thats why the patriots are "so good".....unfortunately by the time i think these teams are ready to seriously compete, as far as threatning the division title reign, brady may be haning them up...but we shall see.....but ive never really bought into that as these teams always find a way to play us tough(or at least tougher than the perception is from fans outside the division)...and who knows..maybe the jets are ready earlier than expected.....sounds like the jets might be giving serious thought about giving the reigns to darnold real quick here Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
michaelredd9 Posted August 12, 2018 Share Posted August 12, 2018 I'm doubtful that they'd pay McCown $10 million if they intended on him being a backup. But with Bowles likely on the hot seat, he'll play whoever gives them the best chance to win. My guess is that is McCown. Starting Darnold would be playing for the future. I would definitely rather have McCown at quarterback if I owned any Jets' receivers. Receivers and tight ends have done well with McCown at quarterback.
