Alex Collins downgraded to DNP on Thursday

Alex Collins (foot) was downgraded to "DNP" in Thursday's practice.

Collins' Week 9 status is now genuinely up in the air, though it's possible the Ravens are just doing all they can to manage his reps ahead of a critical divisional tilt with the Steelers. Another "DNP" on Friday would have Collins likely to sit. It's possible he ends up a dreaded game-time decision.

4 weeks ago Collins was a limited participant on Wednesday, did not practice on Thursday, practiced in full on Friday and then didn't end up on the final injury report.  I'm still picking up Buck Allen in the one league I can.

Don't you feel that Montgomery eventually takes Allen's job?  He certainly has more talent.

Probably in time, but he's barely had enough reps to get up to speed, in a critical divisional game, I doubt harbaugh is rolling Monry out there too much

Probably lis franc and that's why they were buying a rb a trade deadline

It wouldn't be surprising if his foot injury is serious.  This is Steelers week.  They might have lied when they said he practiced on Wednesday.  The Ravens are 4-4.  There isn't much they wouldn't do to win this week.  And game planning for Alex is very different than game planning for Buck.
