Wolverines Fan
I thought Bill Lazor was doing okay. Before Green got hurt. The same Hue Jackson who apparently didn't want to play Mayfield or Chubb. Edited November 13, 2018 by Wolverines Fan
stethant
Cincinnati deserves so so much better. How is Marvin Lewis employed?
jamesplante11
Rumors are swirling as to what his title will be. The article I was reading said Lazor was doing well so the opening isn’t OC. Right now it looks like “Assistant HC” or some type of assistant that “oversees everything” Either way I’m going to enjoy the game after the bye week. They will need to beat the Browns if they want to make the playoffs.
stevegrab
Hue was an offensive specialist, not a genius there for sure though. But like most coaches he probably knows some stuff about the other side of the ball too. I suspect Lewis may lean on him to handle some HC duties while he focuses on the D. And yes they will pick his brain to get some inside info on what they can do to beat the Browns. Not sure how much it will help, the Browns have done quite a few things in the 2 games since he's left, and now have the bye week to work in some more wrinkles. (They are off until next week, HC Williams gave them Monday and Tuesday off (Wed-Sun I think is guaranteed time off by the CBA).. After the way the Browns played Sunday, I think they could sweep the Bengals (was thinking a split was possible not likely with Hue). If they hired him to strategerize against the Browns, it is his insight into the Browns offense that will be most helpful. Hue is probably not even helping on this week's game and is putting all of his effort into their game against the Browns in 2 weeks. Also, he is Marvin's little helper and Marvin is on defense. Bill Lazor probably doesn't want his help. Edited November 13, 2018 by michaelredd9
