League Calendar
Live and Let Dy (LLD) Dynasty League is a year-round league with events and activities taking place year-round.

 

December 31 - December 31 or after the league Super Bowl completes, any player with 2 years or less remaining on his contract for the current season may be dropped without any cap hit until the Monday, 11:59 PM the day after the NFL Super Bowl.

December 31 - Trading is suspended for all owners unless the new season league fees have been paid. This rule is in place to prevent owners from making major decisions about their teams for the upcoming season without having paid for that season yet. Early payments are permitted

February - Contract rollover: Each player's contract is reduced by one year. (This will be done as soon as the new year MFL site opens in February each season).  Trading opens for all teams that have paid their dues once the new year site has opened.

February 28 - Deadline to declare whether owners are returning for the new season. Failure to declare one way or the other will prompt for a new replacement to be sought. League activities will be put on-hold and postponed until a new replacement owner is found.

March 1st - League fees are due.

March 1st – Every team that has paid their league dues receives their $50 LLD dollars (league money) allocation.

March 1st - 3 LLD $'s are awarded to each the 4 previous season division winners.

 

Subject to League Vote - Changes

March 21st - One week of free agency begins (only FA period prior to NFL Draft). The last new free agency auction that can be started is on March 27th @ 11:59 PM EST.

March 25th - Franchise tags must be posted in the league forum by 11:59 PM EDT on March 25th.

March 28th – Deadline for submitting Blind Bids for Franchise Tagged players to XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX is March 28th 11:59 PM EDT.

March 31st – Deadline to accept a franchise player blind bid by 11:59 PM EDT on March 31st.

April 1st - Begin Restricted Free Agency (RFA) Period, which will last for 30 days. Any new RFA auction thread must be posted in the forum by 11:59 PM EDT on April 30th.

May 1st - End of Restricted Free Agency (RFA) Period @ 12:00 AM EDT

May 19th - Rookie Draft begins 3 weeks after the NFL Draft on a Saturday @ 1:00 PM EDT.

June 1 - Free Agency (FA) opens and lasts until Week 16, Saturday @ 11:59 PM EDT

Monday before 1st game - Final Roster cut down @ 11:59 PM PDT (Maximums: 20 active, 2 IR, 7 DTS)

November 17th – Trade deadline is Saturday, November 18th 11:59 PM EDT. (Week 11)

Week 16, Saturday @ Week 16, Saturday @ 11:59 PM EST, the deadline for submitting new bids for free agents.
