purplemonster
I'm not really an expert on who qualifies for the Hall of Fame, or on some of those names. But the two that stuck out are Ed Reed and Tony Gonzalez.

stevegrab
Lots of worthy guys on the finalist list, one very worthy player left off again, Clay Matthews. Seems to be a glut at DB now, Atwater and Lynch are deserving but Reed is definitely better. Bruce suffers with the WR logjam, maybe its his time since only WR finalist. Boselli the best of the OL, but a short career. Reed and Gonzalez are the locks.

Zooty
It may be easier to list the guys who shouldn't get in from that group. Almost all of them should eventually get in. My pick 5: Tony Gonzales- no-brainer Ed Reed- no-brainer Johnny Robinson- no idea who he is but the Vet Committee always gets one in Bruce- should already be in but finally his turn at WR :eyeroll: Champ- a real shut-down CB in his prime Quote Steve Atwater, Safety – eventually will get in, guy was a stud Champ Bailey, Cornerback – in Tony Boselli, Tackle – should be in but short career hurts him Isaac Bruce, Wide Receiver – should be in Don Coryell, Coach – should be in, he built the foundation of the modern passing offense but never won anything Alan Faneca, Guard – guards get ignored, but he was a Steeler though not as good as Hutch at G, IMO Tom Flores, Coach – no Tony Gonzalez, Tight End – in Steve Hutchinson, Guard – guards get ignored Edgerrin James, Running Back – ehhh, good not great, if he only played as long as Curtis Martin, he would have a shot, lol Ty Law, Cornerback – maybe eventually, very good but not great IMO John Lynch, Free Safety – very good but not Atwater great Kevin Mawae, Center – Centers get ignored almost as much as G Ed Reed, Safety – in Richard Seymour, Defensive End/Defensive Tackle – I never thought he was that dominate but had some very good seasons Johnny Robinson, Safety – 1960-1971 Dallas Texans/Kansas City Chiefs Pat Bowlen, Owner – no....why put in owners over players? Gil Brandt, Vice President of Player Personnel – 1960-1988 Dallas Cowboys; Contributor – should be in, revolutionized scouting and the draft process Edited January 6, 2019 by Zooty
darin3
The more I hear about Tom Flores the more I think he should be in. Tony G is a lock.
kdko
Bump for Lorenzo Neal. I don't understand how the best player in the history of the NFL at his position hasn't even gotten a mention.... 10 consecutive 1,000 yard seasons for the HB's he blocked for...CMON!!
