In several leagues i am in, it is based on position, such as ,5 for RBs, .75 for WRs and 1.25 for TEs.

The NFL likes to pass and offenses are no longer all about grinding out rushing yardage. I can understand why varying reception points per position are used, but overall, I think reception points are a huge positive for fantasy football and more of an equalizer between positions.
