Sorry for the delay, I'm not around the computer at all on the weekends.  Just PM me, though, when I'm up and I should be able to jump on and pick.

Saints select Parris Campbell, WR, Ohio St.

@Dcat back to you... PM me when you are done with your 2

Campbell should have been gone awhile ago, gives Brees another weapon... perfect complement to fellow Buckeye Michael Thomas

With the 1st pick in the 3rd round, the Arizona Cardinals select Brian Burns, OLB from Florida St.

and @GREENBEAN is up (PM me after you pick, please!)

Cardinals need edge help badly and Burns is a freak.  Alongside Chandler Jones and Hasaan Reddick, Burns could be a real nice addition to the Cardinal D

Strange.

He's been off the board since pick 12. I just checked.  He's not on the Available Players tab and the Players and EDGE tabs say picked #12.

I've added a team-by-team tab that sorts the draft by team.  Helpful if you are looking for a trade partner too.

Some analysts are calling Riley Ridley (Calvin's brother) the most sure-handed WR in the draft.  He projects to be a solid #2 WR with a high ceiling for the foreseeable future.  Really wanted the Colts to take a look at him, but he shouldn't have fallen this far.

Smart pick for the bengals @GREENBEAN.  Grier is under rated and it wouldn't surprise me if he gets playing time vs Dalton.

Pats and Bills are up if someone wants to make their pick , please go right ahead.

scrolling through the team-by-team, there are some that I really like:

1 23 760 Houston Texans Shorttynaz Cody Ford Oklahoma OT
2 22 360 Houston Texans Shorttynaz Juan Thornhill Virginia S
2 23 350 Houston Texans Shorttynaz Damien Harris Alabama RB
3 22 160 Houston Texans Shorttynaz

I love all 3 of those and especially for that team.  Lets see the 3rd rounder soon.

Same for this one.  Love these

1 8 1400 Detroit Lions Big John Montez Sweat Mississippi State EDGE
2 11 470 Detroit Lions Big John Julian Love Notre Dame CB
3 24 150 Detroit Lions Big John

Posted (edited)

but it sure is hard to beat a team with 4 picks in the first two rounds.  Good luck topping the Gruden.  But don't forget to subtract Mack, Cooper, etc from Oakland.

1 2 2600 Oakland Raiders Dcat Nick Bosa Ohio State EDGE from 49ers
1 32 590 Oakland Raiders Dcat Irv Smith Alabama TE from New England
2 3 550 Oakland Raiders Dcat Josh Jacobs Alabama RB
2 32 270 Oakland Raiders Dcat Amani Oruwariye Penn State CB

from New England

But the 49ers top it with this (thanks to the Gruden love for Bosa)

1 4 1800 San Francisco 49ers darin3 Quinnen Williams Alabama DL from Raiders
1 27 680 San Francisco 49ers darin3 N'Keal Harry Arizona State WR from Raiders
2 4 540 San Francisco 49ers darin3 Rock Ya-Sin Temple CB
3 3 255 San Francisco 49ers darin3 Amani Hooker Iowa S OTC

I didn't realize we had all those tabs.  I was picking on my little Chromebook (which is made by Google, so you'd think it'd work better with Google Docs).

I just did a Control-F and searched for the last name and nothing came up.  User error apparently.

Business trip this week.  I leave tomorrow morning and I figured I should be honest with you all - I won't have a whole lot of time to focus on this - honestly I don't know if I'll have much time at all for it.  I will continue through the evening tonight, and will check in on Tuesday and Wednesday evening(s).  Should one of my picks come up during the day tomorrow or Wednesday - make my pick for me.  Thanks!

I'm usually ok for about 125-150 picks.  After that it's mostly pot luck even if I recognize who the player is.  Not sure if anyone was even thinking of a round 4 anyway.  I could do 4 rounds if anyone wanted but after that I go off other people's rankings almost entirely.

SO whatever you all want to do is fine with me.  I'm glad we will get 3 rounds done.  Top 102 picks is nothing to sneeze at for amateurs.

I'll be off line for a few hours.  If Cowboys have made their pick, I have 3 in a row after that.  Will be posted later.

Shameless solicitation.  I only need 2 more likes to hit the '1,000 club'.

Wouldn't it be cool to be the one who got me there?

Help a brother out!  :)

We are 8 picks away from completion of round 3.  I expect us to get to that by later today or early tomorrow.

Here's the plan...  for the remainder of Wednesday into Thursday, if you want to continue into rd 4 I plan on keeping this open and updating the spreadsheet.  If you don't want to do anything beyond rd 3, post it to let us know and those who will be playing along on Wednesday & Thursday can make the picks just like we have done for AFC East.

There are 254 picks in the draft and 4.25, Philadelphia Eagles is exactly the halfway point.  It would be amazing to get to that.  Anyway, that's 33 picks away, so lets keep going in rd 3 today.

Someone can pick for me.  At the airport with no time to look at things.  Thanks @Dcat for running this!
