Highest winning bid of $32 seems pretty low...as matter of fact only one team had lower.  Was a roster with depth the purpose or did the bidding on top quality just not go according to plan?

Also any noticeable trends in the IDP draft (though its still ongoing)?

I don't see a link for the scoring guidelines for these leagues. PPR? 0.5 PPR? That would be helpful in evaluating their usefulness.

ON the top, hit Reports, a drop-down will appear then hit Rules then select League Scoring.

Experts? They wouldn’t get these studs in my local auction at these prices. You could have Barkley MCCaffrey (basically 1.01 and 1.02) Ertz Woods doesn’t matter what qb and grab some flier WRs - probably have 1 or 2 start off waivers.

Edit it to add- you also have enough for Evans !!! So it would be Barkley- MCCaffrey/ Evans- Woods/Ertz

Over the weekend the FLEX leagues held 3 different drafts/auction formats.

All 3 were half PPR

1 snake draft

1 snake superflex draft

1 auction

This is the link to their auction bidding this was held live on Sirius XM you can go back on demand and listen to any of the 3 if you have Sirius XM.

This spreadsheet shows the order of the players bid as well top guys went 1st and guys on bottom last.  $200 budget.  All 4 of the top backs went for exactly $57.

Here is the snake draft that was not the superflex http://www70.myfantasyleague.com/2019/options?L=71571&O=113&CMD=GRID&DISPLAY=LEAGUE&ARCHIVE=*

These are all big "experts"

Sorry couldn't quote that massive post and make it smaller due to the format.  Fair enough if that comes in with the value the previous year.  Still curious though on my original question.  Looking over the listing you have, Montgomery's $ amount rank is 25/26 overall on the list.  I also see the first player acquired for Huddle was around the 27th auction as well.  So was a roster with depth the purpose or did the bidding on top quality just not go according to plan?

It is not unusual for me to be the final team winning a bid and yet being the first done because I end up with very few $1 players. Intentionally.

I have tried almost every style of bidding. The last few years I usually bought a top RB and even bought two of the top 5 before. But the cost with those elite players strips your ability to field a complete team. And god forbid one of those top RBs gets injured (or holds out). Relying heavily on one or two high priced players isn't the advantage that it seems, particularly when you end up with half a roster of $1 players.

I got caught bidding twice. I did not intend to buy Luck at $13 but I hit the "+1" button at like $8 and it suddenly was 13. Not a bad value but I would have dropped back with two cheaper QBs. I also for some insane reason bid on TE Darren Waller for $3 when I don't need him and he has the same bye week as Ebron. Not a huge mistake but it meant later I missed out on Pollard for $3.

My plan was to get three $25 RBs Montgomery (32) was a bidding war between me and one other guy (should have been 25). Mark Ingram 28 and Devonta Freeman 19.

I wanted three $20 WR and got Cooks 24, Robinson 16, M Williams 14. And Pettis 10 and Valdes-Scantling 7 could pitch in as well.

I have had the most success letting the top ten players in their position suck up most of the cash and then I hit the "B" players harder than anyone else.
