Lamar Miller just went down with knee injury

Recommended Posts

Not sure how bad but just took a hit which jarred his knee sideways. Hope he's ok but may wanna look to Duke as insurance.

I almost posted about how there had not been any real injuries of note this summer but figured it would be bad luck if I did. Miller had the look like this is not a short-term injury.

Duke can carry a full load and he would open up that offense in so many ways. Don't rule out Houston making a trade for a RB, there are a lot of crowded backfields and Gordon is still holding out for a contract.

I think HOU is a lock to bring someone in and soon.

First major injury and of course I drafted him  Luckily, he was my 4th option for RB (Barkley, Josh Jacobs and Chris Carson is ahead of him  Heck, maybe even Darwin Thompson is ahead of him from my roster)

That is a very impressive list of names that Schefter may have been taken straight out of the phone book. The only person I have even remotely heard of is Taiwan Jones. I would assume that Duke will be getting quite a bit of action.  Actually that trade seemed to work out very well for everyone involved.

You think that BUF will trade McCoy to HOU?

BUF has a crowed backfield and has a bunch of positions to upgrade and/or future draft picks.

Fear or confirmed? Or too feared to confirm?

if he has a torn ACL it's almost guaranteed that he has other damage too, like meniscus. It's unlikely that you can take a hit like that and "only" have a torn ACL.

For fantasy purposes it seems to make this clearer.  Duke is the back to own and no one else likely.  Too bad for Miller but he wasn't really that great anyway right.

I've got Duke in a couple leagues, which is great and all, but if I'm drafting soon I'm not sure he'll be worth the bump in ADP given the uncertainty they bring someone else in.

Did he carry a full load in college? Because he certainly didn't in the NFL.

Just curious how one can say he's capable without him doing it before, at least at this level.

You can almost get a WR1 for Duke now.

I'm not sure I have much sympathy. You really shouldn't be relying on Lamar Miller as your second running back anyway. Unless you're in like some 16 Team league
