ARTAQ
Keeper League: Should I keep Kamara and lose my 1st round pick? ... or Keep Chubb and lose my 12th round pick?
Chaim Witz
Where do you pick this year? PPR or no? Do you lose Kamara after this season anyway?
Chaim Witz
I would probably keep Chubb for several more years, if I'm losing Kamara after this season. You might actually get the right pick to draft him anyway. 🤷♂️
jherman88
I'd keep Chubb for sure (keeping him for my team this year)...for a 12th? That's too good a value to pass on (IMO)...and depending on where you are picking in the 1st you can still get another stud RB.
ARTAQ
I can keep Kamara for as long as I want in a keeper league...I'll just continue to lose my 1st round pick by keeping him. Not sure where I pick yet. Waiting to hear back from the commish with his answer. Last year I picked last because I won...then I won again and now someone thinks perhaps picking last is an advantage. Montana is da Man
I'd keep Chubb, much better value
mclellan83
My first thought is to go with Chubb because of so much value, I would say where you are drafting plays a huge role in any thought about Kamara. What do you think of my team?
Sharpie
You may have won back to back because of Kamara. Chubb is a likely 10-15 overall pick however and great value. That said, I'd keep the 1 guy in FF with absolutely no red flags (good team/coach/quarterback, long term success, no injuries, focal point of the offense).
turbotooslow
I mean, Chubb in the 12th is more than a steal. That's a no-brainer for me.
ItsHazard531
Chubb easily. Edited August 30, 2019 by ItsHazard531
ARTAQ
Thanks fellas! I've been asking this question every few weeks for several months just to make sure. I'd say the responses are 95% keep Chubb, to 5% keep Kamara. Much appreciated, I'm keeping Chubb come draft-day this Sunday.

A 12th round stud RB will start your draft off right.
JumpingJehosaphat
What slot are you drafting at? Who are the other 11 players being kept? Edited August 31, 2019 by JumpingJehosaphat

This isn't a dynasty league, it's a keeper league in which we keep 1 player from the previous season...hence my original question.

jron
Id say Kamara. You'd have to assume many other teams will keep their 1st round picks and then you are picking last. Would feel like a waste using your 1st round pick on someone who is an end of the 2nd round player vs keeping an absolute stud in Kamara.

While I feel this does change things a bit, because now someone is gonna be picking up Kamari real early, you are staring your Draft with Chubb at a VERY late round which is a total advantage because you can still grab top talent with the back to back picks. And you don’t have to worry about missing out on a top tier RB late.

JumpingJehosaphat
So it's Chubb + two consecutive second rounders or Kamara + one second-rounder? Just intuitively, I'd keep Chubb. Try to predict who the keepers are and that should help you project who'd be available to you before making a decision.
tylcook13
This is yet another no brainer. You take Chubb for the value and keep that first round pick.
