The Badfinger Posted October 13, 2019 Share Posted October 13, 2019 I have Chris Carson and have been carrying Penny all season. Once again Penny is ruled out. Seems like a lingering hamstring. On my team I can only roster 5 RBs. Having him just seems a waste as I don't think he will effective even if Carson goes down. My other RBs are Barkley, Hyde and Malcolm Brown. I am seriously thinking of picking up Mattison as I know Dalvin Cooks injury history, plus he seems to be getting as many touches as Penny did when serving as backup during games. Cuz if you do then I would definitely pick up mattison cuz he’s a far more valuable handcuff then Penny. But frankly Penny missing 3 of 4 games with a hamstring tells me he is not well and likely could not shoulder the load if Carson is injured or benched. Just looking at depth and potential going forward. Edmunds probably has the better chance of becoming a starter going forward with DJ's back issues.
