Trade Advice involving Mahomes

I was just offered a trade for my Pat Mahomie. Never in a million years did I think I would trade him. Fact is, he has a tough schedule ahead of him and is nursing an anckle injury. I was offered Lamar Jackson and Tevin Coleman for Patty Mahomie. 10 man PPR and I’m hurting at RB (CMC (bye week), Phil Lindsay, Duke Johnson, Malcom Brown)

Thoughts?!

It depends. I have Mahomes as well but I'm also 5-1. I'd rather take a couple L's to have him in the playoffs where he is proven.

Well for fantasy purposes, the playoffs are just some regular season games. That would probably be weeks 14-16, where Mahomes has NE, DEN, CHI. Pretty brutal matchups.

Jackson on the other hand has BUF, NYJ, CLE. Buffalo will be tough, but much better matchups overall.

Not a horrible trade.  Lamar gives you great upside with the rushing.  Other than BUF, schedule ROS is good.

Coleman is RB2, but SF is balling now and I do not see it stopping.

Mahomes is solid.  When (IF) he fully recovers from ankle he will be lights out like last year.  Tough for him to be limited in running around like last year and trying to heal up.

EDIT:  You could try for more or better since they really want Mahomes.
