League_Champion
Is this a backup role or the end of Trubisky? TRADE: Chicago Bears trading for Jaguars QB Nick Foles. (via @MikeGarafolo)
League_Champion
The Bears are giving up their compensatory fourth-round pick (No. 140 overall), which now gives the Jaguars 12 picks in the upcoming NFL draft. The move means the Jaguars will have to absorb $18.75 million in dead money in 2020. After cutting Blake Bortles last March, the Jaguars will now have paid $35.25 million in dead money over the past two offseasons. Unfortunately they'll be just good enough to be out of the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes next year. So once again they'll be wallowing in maximum mediocrity for the foreseeable future. That is a nice haul, they are clearly trying to clear the decks on the Foles experiment and start fresh.
Wolverines Fan
The first time Trubisky has a bad game at home, the fans will start chanting We want Foles! We want Foles! We want Foles! Trubisky definitely on the hot seat.

Either way, it was a "meh" move. We'll be 7-9 or 8-8 and just miss the playoffs for the foreseeable future. Meh.
Zooty
As an Eagles fan, I love Nick but he just isn't anyone's answer as a long-term QB
Finn5033
Foles will beat out a Trubisky and start the season. He is the better QB Edited March 18, 2020 by Finn5033

League_Champion
Unless Foles is the starter week 1. They may just find out in camp that Foles is that much better. I'm not much of a Foles fan but he's light years better than Trubisky.
