stevegrab
I read that since he was released by the Jags he followed thru on something from a couple years ago, after he was suspended for fighting in a game with the Bills, the team said it would cancel part of his guaranteed contract, about $4M worth. Had he been on the team this year he would have gotten that money, but since they released him he won't and is trying to get it. Don't think that impacts the ability for him to be signed by another team, but there may be some issues with him that is making him less desirable, even as a free agent. It is one thing to garner little interest in a trade situation, but to clear waivers, and maybe still draw little attention as a FA, that's odd. He doesn't suck, but he isn't great either. And he may want a big payday once he is signed. Yes injuries always impact these things, so he may get his shot.
1fastdoc
I'm starting to think he's like AB minus the elite talent. I just traded Fournette and AB for Terry McLaurin. Surprised the other guy took it since it's dynasty.

Wolverines Fan
Ronald Jones LeSean McCoy Dare Ogunbowale Ke'Shawn Vaughn Raymond Calais Leonard Fournette Yup, that's a crowded backfield. Do they keep McCoy? And there's no way Fournette gets a massive workload like he did with the Jags last year. indyrckstar
Can't they just keep all 3 (Fournette, McCoy and Jones) and make it work? With injuries/COVID/depth/etc..., it would seem like a good idea to have options as the season progresses. Tampa looks to be all in with Superbowl or bust. DildoShwaggins
People on here trying to tell me Fournette is good 🤣 he's probably average at best in the NFL, needs a ton of volume for "good" rushing numbers. He's got brick hands, so he can't be utilized in the passing game. There's a reason the Jags didn't pay their former top 5 draft pick... It's because he's average and a bust.

Bier Meister
... BA keeps talking up jones as his 3 down back, but brings in mccoy and Fournette. Fournette will take over. It's just a matter of when.

Writing is on the wall people, and I am no fan of Fournette.
