Grits and Shins
If you understand the "bag of cheetos" reference, you might be an old Huddler. If you know who formed his own board where there was no language filter and still have a link to that defunct board, you might be an old Huddler. If you know of another who formed his own board that still exists today where many of these old Huddlers still hang out and have the link, you might be an old Huddler. If you know how to get to the Watercooler, you might be an old Huddler. If you remember the board wars, you might be an old Huddler. If you remember Rattlesnake, you might be an old Huddler. Willy
Been around since the Matt's script board 1997. I remember almost all of the stuff 'Blitz' posted. This topic comes up at least 2 times per year. A few other old timers...SBX, Easy and Dirty, Swami, LHUCKS, Grego. I think only EnD is still around though. rajncajn
For historical context, some highlights to guage your participation 1997 - rudimentary message board which was mostly me using an alias asking myself questions with occasional commentary from Big Country. 1998 - The first UBB board in all of fantasy football 1999 - August to October was the Delphi fiasco. Back to UBB 2000 - Great traffic, losing money and killing ourselves to do it. Last free year. :violin: 2001 - Decided to go one more year with members only and if no one signed up, we'd still kill ourselves for the season and then very, very sadly shut the door. Pay site as of July, 2001. 2002 - 2003 - 2004 - 497139 Started using the Huddle in 97, started lurking on the MB in 98. Had the occasional post in 99, but missed the Delphi fiasco. I remember seeing it, just never used it. Started posting regularly after the UBB board returned in 99 & have been here ever since.

dsrm
How can you mention Roadrunner and not Lucy? 497909 Lucy is no longer Mrs Roadrunner. So she doesn't count anymore.
Grits and Shins
Lucy is no longer Mrs Roadrunner. So she doesn't count anymore. 497924 ... sure she still counts ... but at that time they were a pair. What a stink that dead pool draft raised ... Kansas State 2000
Why piece of string was not drafted 1.1 is still beyond me.
dsrm
What a stink that dead pool draft raised ... 497934 Not nearly as much of a stink as the Screw Your Buddy Draft. That led to a lot of bad blood and bannings if I remember correctly

TDFFFreak
Been a long time, but not exactly sure when I discovered the Huddle. I know it was free and there was no such thing as a displayed post count. It also was back when Bronco Billy was a force around here. Grits and Shins
there was no such thing as a displayed post count. 497980 No but there were Veterans and Newbies ... and all the sore feelings those labels created.
Big Red
I remember more than I thought I would, however, I don't seem to remember anyone metioning CANS and Beakerpunk's wife. That seemed to linger forever.
Grits and Shins
I still think theHuddle should have a link to a page showing all the Smackbowl champions. If you remember how many posts it took to be inducted into the original Huddle HoF and who the first inductee was, you might be an old Huddler. If you know anything about resurrected Huddle HoF then you may know more than I do.
