Rhodes again for 6 yards. 568996 Not that I'm complaining about Edge's fantastic day, but c'mon, LET HIM GO FOR THE SINGLE-GAME RECORD!! Hey, if Peyton can go balls-out for the TD title, why can't Edge make a run at Jamal Lewis? "Fantasy" Msaint says: I want them BOTH to stay in and rack up points!!!! "Real football" MSaint says: Good call by Dungy to get 'em out to avoid stupid injuries.
Big Score 1
I thought that's what practice was for. 568956 (1) I don't think practicing the Goal Line Run package can come near to emulating the reality of a live Goal Line situation And what happens if Edge gets turned awkwardly on the goal line and tears his ACL again? Edge has missed a hell of a lot of games over the past few years due to injury.568956 (2) Whether Edge gets turned awkwardly on the goal line and tears his ACL again or gets gets turned awkwardly midfield and tears his ACL again the result is the same......Dominic Rhodes or James Mungro. (3) I would submit that Manning suffering a torn ACL at the Goal Line while scrambling around to complete a TD pass, would be far worse a blow to the Colts Offense, than Edge going down with a torn ACL while trying to punch it in at the Goal Line. But who knows, I could be wrong. Maybe Edge is more important to the Indy Offense, than Manning.
phenom
What do you have to say about THAT, whiners? 568995 I think that you are smoking too much and have short term memory loss....... The Colts are in a tie for first place with Jacksonville. Those who are unfamiliar with the NFL Tiebreaking Procedures should understand that points scored and TDs scored DO make a difference... 5. Strength of victory 7. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed 8. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed 9. Best net points in common games 10. Best net points in all games 11. Best net touchdowns in all games In addition to Manning's personal ambitions, the Colts DO have a good reason for scoring as much as possible (as long as it doesn't put their victories in jeopardy). 556798 Exactly right, and as Swerski pointed out, total points is part of the NFL tie-breaking procedure. What would people say if they missed a WC spot, or even div title, becuase of 6 pts? What they did made sense in every point. 557159

How is Peyton making me look stupid? Does beating the heck out of a 4-5 team constitute something for Manning? I'm not impressed. Let's see Manning do something in the playoff's to show he doesn't choke. Unless you are happily reminiscing over those 4 picks he threw last year in NE........... CaptainHook
This is my bold and fearless prediction of the week: Edgerrin James will score AT LEAST two TD's. Marvin Harrison will have the most catches of any Colt receiver and WILL score at least once. 566160 I think Edgerrin's rushing totals equal the extra TD: 23 carries 204 yards 1 TD 1 catch 11 yards Although Harrison did not lead the Colts in receptions he did score: 4 catches 49 yards 1 TD

Colts losses are to playoff teams. Jax has lost to Colts, Chargers, Houston, and Tennessee. Nice. 3 divisional losses. Our #2 never even threw the ball, drove into FG range, but went for it on fourth down in order to not run up the score. 'Course there were three picks mixed in, but the point of the thread was King - vs - McClown. Methinks King put that one to bed today. And I'm sure all the Boldin & Fitzgerald owners are quite happy with King's numbers today. Schmuck
