TJR
Nate is supposedly "hot"...and he did have a big week last week...one catch the week before, though. Mason's more consistent but hasn't been in the end zone much. I was starting Mason with Volek in the lineup but now McNair is starting and he's been flat out awful this year. With Brown out, though, they're quickly running out of options. I've got Roy Williams, too, but he's done nothing lately with the injury. I'm inclined to want to see him do something before I plug him in. Jimmy's starting. He's been too consistently good not to get the start and leads all the other guys in fantasy points. Runner
I actually like Mason, especially if McNair plays. With CBrown most likely out, coupled with the fact that the Jags are good against the run, the Titans will be passing a lot. Mason should benefit big time. myamane
Without Brown I think the Titans throw a bunch to Mason. I go with Mason. Checkout my posting if possible. Thanks.
ts
Gotta like Nate's upside, but...assuming Brown is out for TEN, McNair could throw 50 times, which bodes well for the consistent Mason. Even if TEN does not throw 50 times, Mason should be good for 6/65. All things considered however, I'd have to roll the dice on getting a big day from Burleson. slickvick
I like Burleson's big play ability against the Lions and he is the Number one option.Mason is the safer play but I think Burleson has a better shot at scoring.
DFox
I agree - I think Burley gets the nod here. I think the Titans will come out flat against a tough Jags D. Jags front 4 are TOUGH against the run which will focus defensive attention to the air. Mason may have an average day - 4-50 or so - but no TD's. IMO. Good luck.
