HighKite
I would start Pittman over Portis myself..Portis ain't the automatic start he was in Denver..Pittman has the better matchup I would go with him too.
slickvick
Portis is my choice. He is the best option on that team.Pittman is a good start too but I think Tampa will throw more TD's against San Fran.
pzarvell
I don't think I could bench Portis over Pittman. Gutsy call but Pittman does have the better matchup.
branson
Go with your stud, may have a bigger day with Pittman but also stand the chance of having a horrible day with Pittman. I think Portis is the solid play.
coachharry
I'm playing them both, but yeah, if you bench Portis he'll go off.

Crazy? Not if you want to win ... Pittman averaging 8.9 pts per game in our scoring (7th in league) and Portis is averaging 6.85 pts per game (21st in league). That two point differential is important ... Portis just isn't the same dominant start he was in Denver. With backs like Priest, Alex, and LT, I'd start them whenever they were healthy. With backs performing like Pittman and Portis, I'd play matchups ... A Ramsey revitalization of the passing game to open things up for Portis may change it as the year goes on, but for this week, I'd be daring and play production ahead of profile and go with Pittman.
