Bombs Away
Hi guys, I finally decided to start posting again. Haven't had time this year, but I've been in here for a few years, making that playoff run and feel a sense of urgency. Will Haslett come to his senses this week and finally start giving the ball to Big Mac, or pretend that they're a pass first team?
regent
I have hoped that for the past month, but it never happens because their def can't hold and playing catchup seems to be the norm. Leaving me dreaming about Mcallisters 2003 numbers that never appear.

Generally though, even in their wins they are playing from behind the whole way.

The past 2 weeks they've fallen behind off of opening scores and forget about Deuce. You would figure they would try to milk the clock a little to keep opposing offenses off the field. Haslett must be seeing something that we're not.
Chargerz
Haslett must be seeing something that we're not. 573833 Yeah, a pink slip at the end of the season!!! (Yes, I'm a frustrated Deuce owner!) Edited November 24, 2004 by Chargerz
Bombs Away
Yeah, a pink slip at the end of the season!!! (Yes, I'm a frustrated Deuce owner!) 573848 So am I. On talent alone Deuce is the man. With Haslett he's the forgotten man. That's why I'm leaning towards J. Jones this week. At least we know he'll get the ball, and it will probably be a low scoring affair. Two inept offenses, which means plenty of touches for Jones. myhousekey
Two problems I see with this game 1. NO's inbility to stop the run (dead last in the NFL). Atlanta can run all game and just chew up clock and keep the NO offense on the sidelines. 2. Atlanta's run defense is pretty darn good. (4th in the league allowing 97 yds / game). If the Saints can't create any turnovers it will be a long game for Deuce.
