masslefty33
I am getting a feeling that Peyton Manning is going to get cheap shot very soon when they keep up this passing when the game is way outta hand. I would not be shocked to see a knee dive at him to end this crap once in for all. Call it a hunch, and i hope it doesnt happen til week
jimsoxfan
I think the Manning owners in my two leagues are far more worried that he is playing Baltimore during the first round of the fantasy playoffs....whoops!
Jackass
He did come out of the game at the end of the 3rd quarter when he could have gone for the single game record
Turf Boy
I wouldn't worry about it. Teams rarely get a hand on him. I really don't think they are rubbing it in....like the last guy said, he could've gotten the single game record last game. Just enjoy the show & the ride. CaptainHook
If you are worried about it, trade him. . . I didn't think so. Edited November 27, 2004 by CaptainHook
Gak Attack
Nobody took cheap shots at Marino, Sanders, Holmes, or Faulk. Nobody will take cheap shots at Manning. Manning is a classy, respectful player who works harder as a student of the game than most. Some players take cheap shots at those they don't respect ~ players respect, and are awed, by Manning (at least that's the distinct impression I have gotten over the years). No worries...especially with him sitting on the bench 1/4 of the game. Edited November 27, 2004 by Gak Attack
Guggs
I wouldn't worry about it. Any kind of injury can happen to any player. I would just enjoy his success and enjoy being a Manning owner!
Ralph Furley
Isn't it a great thing to have him on your team?
Donutrun Jellies
He did come out of the game at the end of the 3rd quarter when he could have gone for the single game record 576581[/snapback] I thought that was good coaching right there. Skippy
Nope, I'm not worried about a cheap shot. I am worried that if at any point he would get hurt then I would be up sheet creek as I have no depth behind him worth mentioning. Teams that have played him recently might feel like the Colts scored one or two touchdowns too many in their game but in the NFL it is not so easy to decide when you have scored enough. The Colt defense sucks so it is not hard to picture any team coming back with 21 or more quick unanswered points in any game. I'm sure that Dungy is aware of this potential problem. steeler
That is the silliest thing I have ever heard a fantasy player say.... My guy is scoring too many TDs :bawling: gimme a freakin' break
