Despite the efforts of Ricky Williams’ attorney, David Cornwell, and agent, Leigh Steinberg, to work a deal with the NFL that would allow Williams to become eligible for reinstatement next season, we hear that the odds of Williams returning to the league are remote, mostly because he would be subjected to 10 drug tests a month for the next three years as part of the league’s substance-abuse program.

Unless a masking agent manufacturer's can come up with a Ricky Line, he'll declare that drug testing "doesn't properly respect him as a man" and continue to follow the haze in a bizzaro tabloid career path ...
