Brentastic
When determining the tie break between 2 teams, the rules are as follows: 1. Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs). 2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division. 3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference. 4. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games, if applicable. 5. Best net points in division games. 6. Best net points in all games. 7. Strength of schedule. 8. Best net touchdowns in all games. 9. Coin toss. Edit for clarification: The above rules are the official tie break rules for the NFL. Retrograde assault
I don't know about the nfl, in my leagues the next tiebreaker is head to head points scored. The team that scored the most total points against the other in the two games gets the nod. I imagine there is a lot of different tiebreakers you could use if you wanted to. Followed by division record and total points scored.

I urge all commisioners to eliminate this method for fairness.
