Plus if Miami can beat the Niners im pretty sure the Rams can. Droughns against San Diego could become a shoot out thus limiting Droughns effectiveness. Gdawg Posted December 5, 2004 Share Posted December 5, 2004 Man is that a tough one! Droughns faces a good SD run defense, Jackson faces a non-existant SF run D but splits time... I still have a hard time sitting Droughns for a guy that only plays 1/2 the time. If you want steady production, go with Droughns. If youre looking for a potential homerun, go with Jackson as he should get a lot of garbage time in the second half (once the Rams are up 21 points!). Marauders11 Posted December 5, 2004 Share Posted December 5, 2004 I'd be afraid to bench Droughns in favor of Jackson only because you never know if Martz will abandon the running game and have Bulger chuck it up 40 times. At least with Ruben you know he'll get his 25-30 carries more than likely. Don't get me wrong I think Jackson is the real deal and could have a big game, just have to consider the idiot (I mean Martz) factor.
