Guggs
During the Jaguars game yesterday, one of the announcers stated that this game was the first time a home game has ever been sold out. The francise is 10 years old. Was this actually the first ever time?
FredGSanford
I heard it also and couldn't believe it. If it is true it's pathetic.
Whiskey Pimp
Somebody here said that Jacksonville is more like a big town than a city and therefore doesn't have as many people to sell out.

H8tank
I don't know where they get these stats, unless they added some seats in the past few years. Early on they were always sold out and broadcast locally, the stadium was full. Jax loves their cats. It is a beautiful stadium, with one of the best turfs in the league. Guggs
The Vikings have sold out almost 80 straight home games. Wonder why rumers keep coming up about them moving to LA or somewhere. What about teams such as the Cards who only sell out when they play the Cowboys.

Meanwhile, the Colts "sell out" at the RCA Dome with 57,000 in attendance.
CaptainHook
From what I understand, the Jags must sell 59,000 premium seats to lift a black-out. They do not have to sell all 77,000. I think they set a record for attendance last night, though.
Grimm74
Steelers fans come out in away games. Watch the Dallas and Miami game...I swear it sounds as if they played in Pittsburgh
