darin3 Posted December 15, 2004 Share Posted December 15, 2004 Brady's been tabbed as a solid NFL QB but a pretty bland fantasy QB. He's been proving that wrong, recently. He's been tossing 2 TDs like it's nothin'... over 250 yards like it's nothin'.... who cares if their competition stinks and they just rely on Dillon and their D? He typically has a nice amount of fantasy points by then anyways. Look, it's a divisional game against somewhat of a nemisis... on MNF. Miami's D is shaky, but their secondary is solid. And yet, I'd recommend Brady over Delhomme at this point. Atlanta's D has been wishy-washy, but this could easily turn into a defensive and run-oriented ball game. One of those 13-10 snoozers. Brady should carve up the Miami defense for 240 yards and 2 scores quite easily. Delhomme COULD rack up those type numbers... and has some upside... but I'd prefer to stick with the sure thing. Play Delhomme if you wanna roll the dice a bit Play Droughns for sure over TJ Housh. He'll get back to rollin' along against the terrible KC D. Need IDP advice? Please see my thread! Monsters Of The Midway Posted December 15, 2004 Share Posted December 15, 2004 If past match-ups have anything to do with it, here they are: Delhomme vs. ATL: 23 for 38, 308 yards, 0 TDs, 2 INTs Brady vs. MIA: 7 for 19, 76 yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT Both games are away but, Brady seems to do pretty well on MNF. He was great the last 2 weeks , but really disappointing and incocnsistent prior. I'd play Brady though. MNF ! Miami ! nothing is a sure thing, but I predict at least 3TD's and 260 YDS. Sure they'll run Dillon, but still, Big Bad Bill isn't in a great mood with Charlie heading to ND and I just have a hunch he'll (uncharacteristcally) run up the score to relieve some stress ! And I can see NE scoring a couple on the ground and letting thier D hold on and ride Faulk/Dillon. Carolina is red hot and I think they will play to win! This is thier Super Bowl.
