Do you agree? 623372 That's crazy. This doesn't mean anything. The Patriots will be up for the Jets. I think the Pats just played down to their opponents and it killed them this week. I don't think they will do this again. They needed an eye opener. If Brady just took the sack this could have had a different outcome. Having Brown in at corner is getting tougher for them. They need Law back and fast to get ready for the playoffs.

The pressure will be off and the steelers won't be pressing. Still have to win one of the next two though and I'd prefer to get that out of the way this week. Do you agree? 623372 If it wasn't for Ugly Tuna's Tom Brady - lovin' self , I would probably like the Patriots , but because of UT I hate Brady , Bellichick and the Pats as a whole. I loved every minute of those 4 INTs tonight, and especially the loss. Thanks for giving me a reason to watch this Monday Night football game UT. KevinL
I disagree. This loss will help them refocus. I think they win out, the only team that might beat them will be the Colts.
1badfish
I don't agree at all. I saw the def faulter tonight also but it's one game and a big time rival game at that. Dillon is a monster and so is the N E Def. That is a winning combo. I don't think anyone has emerged to be a hands down winner. I predict that the Pats lose out to the Steelers in the playoffs. Jets lose next week. Steelers/Packers 17-24 Packers

Do you agree? 623372 Um, no, I don't. Kindly hand in your Patriots Fan ID card at the door on your way out, Tuna. Who needs ya. The Fins, to their credit, stepped up and took advantage of (a) uncharacteristic late-game Brady mental errors and ( an undersized, out-manned, depleted secondary, which was going to catch up to them sooner or later. They rushed the hell out of Brady all night and he panicked a few times. This was a classic trap game – team was clearly looking past MIA to NYJ and SF, while also worrying about PIT vs. BAL and BUF, while also playing on the road in the NFL, which is always hard no matter who you are and where the game is – and they got trapped, period. Again, props to the Fins for not mailing it in. But no need for fairweathers like you, tuna, to start bailing after one loss. But feel free to leave....really..... They'll make the playoffs. They'll get a 1st round bye. They'll eventually face PIT at Heinz, where all the homefield/higher-seeded pressure in the world will be on Cowher & Co, not Belichick & the Pats, now that the streak has been over for a few weeks, and the luster is suddenly off golden boy Brady. If anything, if I'm the other AFC teams, I now want to play the Pats less than ever. But back to the point...let's not overlook the gutty effort by Miami, and let's not start saying this very, very strong, legit SB contender is "out of the playoffs" after one loss that drops them to "only" 12-2. Not rubbing salt in the wounds because I really wanted to see PHI make it from the NFC, but just to make a point of comparison: I'm far more worried about reaching Jacksonville if I'm a T.O.-less Eagles fan right now than if I'm a Pats fan post-Miami loss. Czarina
Yeah. What he said. The Dolphins have always played the Pats tough in December. This used to be the annual Pats choke game. One for old time's sake last night, I guess.

But no reason to jump ship. Brady played a bad game...doesn't happen often and the D was soft. Plus stupid penalties hurt as well. Time to focus on the next tough task..the JETS. Just heard on Sports Radio from Brady. After he got off the plane he went into Gillette and watch game tape, the called in for his weekly segment. He hasn't been to bed yet. That's why he rarely has a bad game.
