Czarina
Is Ferguson out of the hospital yet? I've never particularly been a fan of his (owing mostly to rooting for Walker instead), but I have to give him major credit for taking that massive hit and holding onto the ball! And giving the crowd a thumbs up even though he had no feeling in the lower half of his body as they carted him off the field. Whatta guy! Donutrun Jellies
Darius -- this is a ball. Hmm. Oval. No helmet on it. No legs attached. This, on the other hand, is a guy. Look how his head in the helmet is a big round thing atop a body with legs. "Going for the ball" doesn't involve a vicious clothesline hammer job to the guy's head. Big John
Is Ferguson out of the hospital yet? He was scheduled to be released today. He has been ruled out for Friday's game.
Donutrun Jellies
He was scheduled to be released today. He has been ruled out for Friday's game. 625031[/snapback] The bowl game announcers just said he was released today, so it seems it happened as scheduled. Nice to hear he should be fine ... tooo bad he doesn't get a cut of the $75k fine from Darrius to pass along to his favorite charity in his name or something ... Here's hoping Darrius has stepped to the plate, or does so soon, by apologizing in person to Ferguson for the nature of the hit. TecmoBeast
that was intentional. these guys react in spit seconds. that arm didn't retract at all before he clotheslined him. nasty hit, he deserves a major fine for that one.

I think Darius needs some anatomy lessons too.
Randall
Yeah, sure, Salisbury said he got a raw deal. No way he was just going for the ball.
Guggs
Things happen fast on the field. We can look at it in slow motion over and over and say, it was intentional. I don't think it was. Bad luck for him that he clothlined him instead of hitting the ball and trying to jar it.

A Little Bit Special
The bowl game announcers just said he was released today, so it seems it happened as scheduled. The most important thing is that Robert is OK.”
H8tank
Man, look at the guns on that stud! The guy is a playmaker and a leader, anyone would want him on their team.
