Clayton, Gonzalez, Burleson?

Recommended Posts

Clayton would be my first pick. He is in a big game and should be due for some good looks. I also like Burelson (starting both) this week. He was good last week and GB has a horrible pass D. Should be a shootout. Both players are risks with a huge potential. I do not like Gonzo, you already have 1 TE and you will see better numbers from the other 2. Good luck.

They've each played (at least some) in every game this year. Here are some stats from this season that may help you, depending on your scoring system:

- Gonzo: targeted 121 times, averaging 70 yards a game, 5 TDs this year;

- Burleson: targeted 99 times, averaging 60 yards a game, but 8 TDs;

- Clayton: targeted 113 times, averaging 74 yards a game, only 4 TDs.

And, for a more time-relevant point of view, here are some stats from my Huddle league over the last 5 weeks (scoring system in my sig):

- Burleson has averaged 11 fantasy points a game, with a total of 55;

- Clayton has averaged 7.8 points per game, with a total of 39;

- Gonzo has averaged 6.4 points per game, with a total of 32.

Hope that helps.

I'm playing Clayton and Burleson in one league and Clayton in my other league. However I don't have Gonzo in either.

KC should do really well against Oakland, and Gonzo should be a big part of it. I wouldn't feel good starting two TE's, but we are talking about the best two this year. I'd give the slight edge to Gonzo.

I like Gonzo as well. To me I don't worry about "starting 2 TE's" when they are Gonzo and Gates. Gonzo is near the top of the whole league in catches and Gates is near the top in TD catches. To me it's between Gonzo and Burleson and I like Gonzo. If he doesn't catch a TD against that D this week he may never catch a TD again.
