godtomsatan
Looking at adding IDP into the mix for next season. Curious about what stats people use and the point values as well. Tackles, Sacks, Ints, FumRecs, TDs......anything else? Assists? Any advice appreciated.

Our league also awards 7 pts for kickoff returns and 7 pts for safties.
The Langster
WE use 3 points for a FF, sack , FR, or INT ... 1 point for every 3 tackles ... TD scores 6 !! Is fun as hell !!
The Langster
doesnt matter what system you use , whatever you do though start with one scoring and plan on never changing it .. causes to many problems changing rules

If you use 2 points/tackle, as some leagues do, Ray Lewis and other top LB's will go as early as the 3rd round.
boat_hacked
If this is going to be new for your league you may want to just add a few scoring categories the first year. As everyone gets accustomed then add more categories. Our league started with assists(.5),tackles(1),fum.rec.(2). LBs got 2 pts for int. and sacks. DBs got 2 point for int., 4 pts. for sack. DLs got 2 pt for sack and 4 for an int. Reasoning for DBs and DLs points reversed reward those DBs that blitz a lot. and DLs that drop back as a LB. A little more strategy in picking players. next year we added FR for TDs and INT for TD and pass defensed.
