It's time to admit

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned the "Wild Horse" formation.

I got tired of hearing "Wild horses". Wildcat=Wildhorses but they said it about every 3 seconds.

McDaniels did a great job against his mentor. I'm sure that was tough. It seems they are finally using their top WR's now-Marshall and Royal.

Oh please. Get over it. They're 5-0 and looking much better than they did last year when they failed to make the playoffs after some other quarterback threw the entire season away.

They are better because the defense can actually keep it them in a game (although I admit that I'm surprised by it). To blame "other quarterbacks" for the implosion last year is ridiculous. The only reason they were even close to the playoffs last year is because Cutler, Marshall, Royal, & the running game could put up 30-40 points a game.

A Billichick-O never has to quite be led by a Marino/Peyton/BIG ARM-NUMBERS kind of QB. Just someone not so fancy but.....WINS GAMES. Kyle very well may have found his 'niche' under Billichick disciple himself, JOSH DANIELS! After all, Chicago has always BEEN qb-Hell. Right?

Yes, even at 5-0 still too premature I think, but it's looking pretty good for Broncos and REMEMBER, this should not be TOO MUCH of a shock! After all, WASN'T Denver 8-5 before that great collapse last year?? No, I did not predict success on Denver's part, I didn't, but I DID say on more than one occasion last off-season, "It's TOO EASY to say that Daniels will fall flat on his face in '09." I DID say that for what it's worth.

Yippee for you!

Denver is a good team. I don't think they are better than Indy, the Giants or Minn. but they are top 7 IMO.

It's not to premature to say they are a good team. At this point, I think they can actually beat SD and split between Pitt and Balt. Maybe even win all three. Now that's a major turn around from what I thought going into the season.

McD and Nolan are using their players correctly. Not asking them to do too much. Although they did get caught with a LB on Welker on a number of occasions in the 1st half. They do have talent on both sides of the ball, but I think their success lies directly with the coaching staff at this point.

Also hats off to Marshall for being a part of a minority, WR's that bitch in the offseason and then put that aside and do their job without holding back.
Hats back on for still bitching the in the off-season and dragging the franchise through the mud. If you want to complain about your contract, it's your right, but don't be a prima donna in the process, especially during training camp with a new QB. It was unnecessary, didn't help him or the the franchise, and ultimately counter-productive for both sides. They could very easily have been 2-3 with the games against Bengals, Cowboys, and Patriots all needing last minute plays to either tie it up or go ahead.

Please keep downplaying the Broncos. I love how after they beat Dallas last week, everyone was like "well Dallas sucks... if they can beat NE next weekend, that will mean something." And now that they've beaten NE, it's that they barely beat a NE team that clearly isn't the 2007 version. So please keep finding reasons that they aren't that good of a team...

While they've certainly had some creampuffs on the schedule this year, this is the NFL, and bad teams don't start 5-0 regardless of who they're playing against. Good teams win all the games they're supposed to and enough of the ones they might not. That's what they're doing.

I'll admit I was dead wrong about the Broncos and I thoroughly enjoyed that game yesterday. McDaniels has completely won me over, it's hard not to root for him.

Here's hoping we're talking about them, the Ravens, and the Jets in January instead of the same old Pats, Colts, Steelers and Chargers.

That was on purpose. They tried to take Randy Moss out of the game and since he only had four passes thrown his way all game, I'd say they did a good job. Once Moss got frustrated and not putting forth 100% effort, they could relax on him and spread out just a bit more. That was well done.

I believe that to a point. They put Champ on him with a safety over the top. But putting a LB on Welker is not well thought through, hence the 17 points in the 1st half. I agree that once Moss quit playing he was done, but you can never just assume he's not going to play anymore. Although it seemed to work, proof of this was when Bailey was put on Welker at the end of the game.

It was nice to see Bellicheat stay out there and shake the hand of the man who just beat him. Another class act by Bellicheat.

Yes, I did see him turn around a few times but he didn't stop. He was looking behind him still walking towards the locker room.

“It was a little bit more special to me because I knew how hard it would be to beat them,’’ said McDaniels, who indicated he and Belichick agreed to shake hands before the game and eschew any postgame meeting to avoid a circus-like scene. “They don’t beat themselves.’’

your hate is way ahead of you.

but i'm sure the truth won't stop you.

I'm not saying it won't happen, but if you're basing it on history, then you're definitively wrong. Almost all of the coaches and management and half the players are different people.

It might happen, but not cuz of who the Broncos were.

Never question Muto!

I have to eat some crow with regards to the Broncos D...I really thought that a move to the 3-4 with their personnel on the DL would make for a very very rough season...Big props to with what Mike Nolan has done with that D.

+1, and Orton has played very well to boot. I actually think there's no way Denver is 6-0 if Cutler is still there, as Cutler is the king of the red zone INT.
