  1. Drafting with girls

NFL.com had them ranked low but she had a Huddle cheat sheet.
  2. Drafting with girls

I'm really disappointed....this Megan Foxbag was supposedly ignoring me as of a week ago. Glad my posts can still annoy him though.
  3. Homers

You mean Daniel Graham? Or Ben Watson??
  4. Homers

Brandon Jacobs -- Almost a lock for 10+ TDs and slightly more yards than last year. He would be very valuable if anything happens to Tiki. Sinorice Moss -- Keep an eye on him, Toomer ain't getting any younger. Moss is fast and could earn himself some significant looks if he gels with Eli.
  5. Dear Hugh, Is it necessary to send a lady flowers after a spirited evening of hide-the-baloney, even if I don't intend to call her again? Or is a handshake and cab fare good enough? I usually give my dates a little punch in the shoulder and the ol' "good job baby" if she deserves the compliment, and it sometimes isn't taken well. Do they want money? Signed, Confused in Peoria
  6. Any Bobby Engram believers here?

He was inconsistent last year even with Djax out. Now as the #3 option, I don't want any part of him.
  7. ODELL THURMAN "interview"

Sniff, sniff...what a guy. I'm going to comb the WW in my IDP leagues and pick this kid up. He's money in the bank if he stays clean. I don't buy some of what he said but it sounds like he's focused on playing again and staying off the pipe. He'd be a huge moran to screw up again and squander all that talent, but then again I didn't imagine KRob would get a DUI either. It's always a shock when these guys toss away a career.
  8. Unefeated Fantasy Season

Last year I only lost one game in our local keeper league. There were 2 or 3 other very good teams but they had their studs underperform the weeks they played me. The rest of the league was mostly noobs who didn't pay much attention. My team was good, but it was a few key pickups and a trade, as well as a lot of luck that won me the title.
  9. Tell me if you think this trade is a good idea. My team: Manning, Eli NYG QB McNair, Steve BAL QB Barber, Tiki NYG RB Williams, Carnell TBB RB Brown, Chris TEN RB Lewis, Jamal BAL RB Lundy, Wali HOU RB Williams, DeAngelo CAR RB Holt, Torry STL WR Wayne, Reggie IND WR Bryant, Antonio SFO WR Edwards, Braylon CLE WR Johnson, Keyshawn CAR WR Shockey, Jeremy NYG TE His team: Manning, Peyton IND QB Vick, Michael ATL QB Parker, Willie PIT RB Droughns, Reuben CLE RB Jones, Julius DAL RB White, LenDale TEN RB Johnson, Chad CIN WR Driver, Donald GBP WR Burleson, Nate SEA WR Coles, Laveranues NYJ WR Evans, Lee BUF WR Stallworth, Donte' PHI WR Crumpler, Alge ATL TE I would give up Tiki in exchange for Chad Johnson. My thinking is that Tiki is a big risk this year, given his age, one of the worst schedules in the league, and Jacobs stealing more touches (and TDs) than even last year. CJ with a healthy Palmer gives me another stud WR, I can now start Holt, CJ and Wayne. I have enough starting RBs to get by. Chris Brown is playing for a contract, Lundy looks promising, Williams is only another Foster injury from starting, etc...Good idea or too risky to give up Tiki? Also this is a keeper league, I can keep only one offensive non-rookie player and I'm thinking that would most likely be Cadillac. If he sh*ts the bed this year, CJ gives me another keeper option. I'm not thinking Tiki would be my keeper next year. Thanks for any advice.
  10. Trade I'm considering

Still waiting for an answer from the Chad owner. Would you guys do this deal for Steve Smith too?
  11. Posting Etiquette, revisited

And let me just say, if I ever make it to 30,000 posts here, I hope I'm 90 years old because otherwise I need to get a life!
  12. Hugh, I'll copy a trade proposal I already put in another thread, tell me what you think. My team: Manning, Eli NYG QB McNair, Steve BAL QB Barber, Tiki NYG RB Williams, Carnell TBB RB Brown, Chris TEN RB Lewis, Jamal BAL RB Lundy, Wali HOU RB Williams, DeAngelo CAR RB Holt, Torry STL WR Wayne, Reggie IND WR Bryant, Antonio SFO WR Edwards, Braylon CLE WR Johnson, Keyshawn CAR WR Shockey, Jeremy NYG TE His team: Manning, Peyton IND QB Vick, Michael ATL QB Parker, Willie PIT RB Droughns, Reuben CLE RB Jones, Julius DAL RB White, LenDale TEN RB Johnson, Chad CIN WR Driver, Donald GBP WR Burleson, Nate SEA WR Coles, Laveranues NYJ WR Evans, Lee BUF WR Stallworth, Donte' PHI WR Crumpler, Alge ATL TE I would give up Tiki in exchange for Chad Johnson. Tell me if you like this trade and why. Thanks!
  13. Trade I'm considering

Well I offered it, let's see what he says.
  14. Posting Etiquette, revisited

G&S reminds me of that nutjob on The Office, the one that thinks he has authority around the office and tries to bust everyone but they all laugh at him. The difference is that the nutjob on The Office doesn't know he's the laughingstock of the company; he lives in his own world. Here, the majority of people openly scoff at G&S's moronic "33452.5433" posts, and his deeming most posts useless while he responds to them anyway, so he knows exactly how we feel. His answer is to make a spectacle of ignoring people, which is funny in itself because I for one don't want him responding to my posts anyway.
  15. Trade I'm considering

2 RB, 3 WR Another consideration is we get $15 for the top score each week and Cincy plays a lot of soft defenses against the pass. And Palmer last night, holy mackeral. He looked amazing. I could see CJ having some multi-TD games against Cleveland, KC, Oakland or San Diego. Tiki's schedule on the other hand, Chicago, Atlanta, Carolina, Tampa Bay...and Dallas twice, Philly twice.... The only consolation, New Orleans at home for our league's championship week. I'm so close to making this offer, something is stopping me though.
  16. Good news

Aug 29 Michael C. Wright, of the Florida Times-Union, reports an MRI on Jacksonville Jaguars LB Mike Peterson's (knee) right knee revealed a sprain, and Peterson could return for the season opener Sept. 10.
  17. I've read that Hayes has looked solid at MLB for Arizona. Also know that Simmons will be at MLB replacing Thurman at least for 4 games, but I've read he may be undersized for the position? Which is a better option to replace Peterson?
  18. Stallworth traded to Eagles?

Wow, they already have Hank Baskett, now they add Stallworth?! That is one scary group of receivers. I'd bump McNabb up several notches on this news. Also Stallworth should be a top 30 guy now. Wait, does he produce in odd or even years, I forget??
  19. Terrell Owens

With the recent events in Dallas, I'm curious to see how risk averse my fellow Huddlers are. Do you still draft him as a top tier WR or is he just too much of a risk?
  20. Theisman on T.O.

Some entertaining video on the front page of ESPN's NFL section, Theisman going off on T.O. One interesting bit, if you can get past listening to him, he says that Dallas is a Super Bowl contender without T.O. NFL @ ESPN
  21. Let's talksome Derrick Mason

Mason is a solid possession guy who is a lock for 1000 yards if healthy. He did that with Boller last year, and he was awful until the last few games. TDs were the only thing missing. McNair is a huge upgrade, Clayton is a threat opposite him, as is Heap. That means fewer double teams on Mason and more chances for TDs. I'd predict around 1200 yards and 6-8 TDs from Mason.
  22. Depends on position depth. If I have 3 serviceable RBs and one that is underachieving, I might take a long look at upside players on the waiver wire. Sometimes you can tell when a player has a low ceiling and it makes more sense to gamble on a backup RB who promises to do well if given a chance. But I better be confident in those first 3 if I'm dumping a starting RB, even a crappy one. Unfortunately I drafted Chris Brown and Jamal in one league as my #3 and 4. I would almost guarantee that both of them will not be on my roster come October. Both of my starters have a bye week 4, after that I don't plan on starting anyone else unless they get inured (Tiki & Cadillac).
  23. Terrell Owens

Part of me thinks he's scripting some of this. The MRIs were negative, so you have to consider that he may be faking it. Then imagine the glowing praise when he goes out and scores 8 TDs in his first 5 weeks without seeing any action in the preseason with a new offense and QB. That could be what he's fantasizing about right now. He likes to build up the me vs. the world thing in his own mind, and probably wants desperately to prove all the doubters wrong. That's why he's so tantalizing and so risky. No one tries harder than him, but he sacrifices his body in the process.
  24. Buckhalter looks pretty good

Is he now ahead of Moats?
  25. IDP Rankings already posted?

Sounds like some great new stuff is on the way, thanks Sarge & Darin! Looking forward to the IDP start & bench.
