  1. Hey all... anyone still here from back when I was a regular?
  2. QB: Trent Edwards. With all the drama regarding the fired Offensive Coordinator, TE may be available on your waiver wire. but not after this week. New England is vulnerable to the deep ball and its secondary is its biggest weakness. Look for NE to jump out to an early lead and for Buffalo to abandon the run early as it tries to catch up. I'm predicting over 300 yards and 2 tds for Edwards this week. RB: Jamaal Charles. Look for Baltimore to get out to an early, turnover fueled lead, and for jamal charles to catch a lot of passes out of the backfield, coming in for an ineffective Larry Johnson. WR: With Berrian gimpy with a hamstring, andthe rookie Harvin more an electric wild card than a traditional receiver, look for forgotten man Sidney Rice to have a career game today catching balls against the weak Cleveland secondary.. TE: Look for the WR depleted Raiders to go early and often to TE Zach Miller. What are your sneaky plays of the week?
  3. addai=rudi johnson Donald Brown is more talented and will have better numbers this year. In a ten team league, addai is probably an 8th round pick now.
  4. 2-2. Couldn't have been more wrong here though!
  5. how do you figure? Eagles are the 6th seed, which would play the 1 seed...
  6. If Det brings in a good coach and a good qb, they are actually in a very atlanta like situation, except in a much weaker division. Det could win the division next year. Calvin johnson is a stud, imagine how good with a real qb and a real game plan. Kevin Smith is probably decent with an improved oline. They have a few playmakers on defense, but need to draft and play the fa market smart, but its not impossible.
  7. NFC Eagles at Vikings: Eagles win, bring pressure all day and force a few turnovers. Not close, but not a laugher. Falcons at Cardinals: Falcons win a close won, Turner and White both have big games, but more importantly, Ryan makes no big mistakes. Eagles at Giants: The extra week helps, and the Giants play better the bigger the game. Giants win a close one. Falcons at Panthers: Panthers win, Peppers forces a key fumble late in the game on a sack of Ryan. Panthers at Giants: In another over time game, Giants eke out a victory in a great matchup between two very strong teams. AFC Colts at Chargers: Chargers pull the upset. LT is healthy again, and Rivers outduels Manning. San Diego may be this years Pitt/NYG... Ravens at Dolphins: Dolphins win this matchup of rookie head coaches behind a strong running game and mistake free passing by Pennington. Chargers at Titans: Chargers pull the upset of the season, knocking off a rusty Titans team. The defense plays more like last year's team and bottles up LBJ. Collins throws a couple key pics. Dolphins at Steelers: Assuming Big Ben is ok, Pitt wins and it isn't close. Chargers at Steelers: First half is a slug fest, old fashioned smash mouth football, but Rivers opens it up in the second half and San Diego pulls away. Super Bowl: Chargers vs Giants: Giants repeat behind earth wind and fire, with a solid but not spectacular game by Manning. Aaron Ross is the mvp with two interceptions, including a pic six. (Homer bias, of course, but they are MY predictions) Now show me yours.
  8. I haven't read all of page 8, but I'm probably not the first to say, actually, you are.
  9. Would JJ ever offer Cowher a $hitton of money to be GM and coach?
  10. if blacked out, on the ticket, it is on your network channels
  11. Scheduler looks like a genius now.
  12. http://www.justin.tv/trever1982 I'm watching on sunday ticket, but this seems to work
  13. Eagles are a good team and played well. I think the giants were guilty of looking ahead to dallas next week. This game serves as an important wakeup call. I think losing this week makes it more likely the giants beat dallas next week. As a giants fan, I look forward to playing the Eagles again in January.
  14. Plex is short for Plexi glass... forget when he got that nickname, but it is not a mis spelling. Great win for the giants. I wold not be surprised if the giants and steelers play again this season...
  15. should be a great test of how good these teams really are. I predict Giants 24- Steelers 20
  16. assuming a rule is already in place, the question is more along the lines of when as an owner should you vote to overturn a trade...
  17. evidently the LT owner had second thoughts and the commish told him tough, you accepted it.
  18. My gut instinct is no. I'm still steamed that My trade of Calvin Johnson for Brandon marshall and a rookie 1st to a lions homer uncomfortable with Marshall's idiot risk was vetoed. BUT In another league, this one just came through: LT and Randel El FOR Devery Henderson I am tempted to object. Walk me off the ledge.
  19. In my league still in quesiton, I need romo to throw three ints, no tds, and less than 180 yards OR 2 ints, 0 tds and less than 140 yards. OR 1 int, 0tds, and less than 100 yards. Go Eagles D!
  20. What makes brees so good in the nfl is what makes him frustrating in fantasy. He takes what the defense gives him. He might throw to bush, shockey, henderson, patten, meacham, moore. No way to know ahead of time which will have a big day. Detroit's defense is horrible, so they will be throwing early and often, and have less options. We know Roy will get his.
  21. garrard. Put up 215 against a tough buf defense last week. Ryan is a rookie and will not throw unless he has to.
  22. I actually like bryant best of those 5 this week. Is your waiver wire still open?
  23. go with addai. Hightower will be cutting into edge's carries and may get the goal line looks.
