  1. Standard performance, PPR league: Start 3 - Wayne, Edwards, Mason, Hackett, or Curry - Wayne and Edwards are locks in my mind, so I neeed help for my WR3 slot. I'm leaning towards Hackett since Mason has put up some clunkers and Curry is a raider (though he has been hot). Thoughts? Standard performance, Non-PPR: Start 3 - Driver, Holt, Roy Williams, Coles - Driver and Holt are locked in. I've been starting Roy over Coles, but Roy hasn't scored a TD in like 5 or 6 weeks. Plus Coles has been hot. Should I start Coles over Roy, or over any of the other 2? Answer these and I'll glady answer yours.
  2. Stevens or Vernon Davis?

V Davis, no faith in Stevens.
  3. QB help?

I'd go with Eli in a possible shootout against the Saints. Cincy D was doing well before running into the best QB in the league, so Cutler doesn't have that great a matchup. Please see mine: http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=192341
  4. I would also add that if you don't want to go with Rivers, then I would go with Anderson over the other ww fodder. Anderson has looked decent, and Tampa Bay has been giving up passing TDs.
  5. I would go with Rivers too. If Alex Smith can torch the Seattle D, then anyone can do it. He's capable of putting up numbers and I would definitely want him over a ww pickup. Putting my superbowl hopes on Tim Rattay would make me cry.
  6. Quick Questions

I go Romo, Burress, Driver and Clark. This might be the best defense Garcia has played. Burress has a better matchup than Owens, and Owens bum fingers worry me. Driver has the best matchup, and you know Favre will want to light it up in this possible last home game. Clark should have a good game against the Lions. Please see mine: http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=192341
  7. Nice options at WR, but WDIS?

When I have too many studs w/ good matchups, I go with the proven veterans over the guys with one good year under them. Driver and Harrison have been doing it for years and are as good as they come. Colston is having a great year, but it's only one year, plus he's only a couple weeks away from that ankle sprain. Bottom line is you can't go wrong with any of them, so don't fret whoever you decide on. Please see mine: http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=192341
  8. QB ?

Favre - Hass has been struggling since his return. If he can't have a big game against SF, then I have doubts he can do it against SD. Favre faces a terrible Vikings secondary in what is being billed as possibly his last game at Lambeau, so you know he'll be all pumped up.
  9. NY Giants

Woot, up 7-0 already. Go Big Blue.
  10. NY Giants

What a freak int. No matter, this game was lost by our defense. Eagles moved the ball on us at will. We need Strahan back and some better defensive schemes.
  11. NY Giants

Huge 3rd down here, come on defense!!!!!
  12. NY Giants

Sigh, fg....why must the offense always sputter.
  13. NY Giants

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet, Garcia got lit up!!!! Giants ball deep in Eagles territory, go Big Blue!
  14. NY Giants

Uggggg, drive past the 50, then sputter. Every friggin game.
  15. NY Giants

It's gooooood! Feely's foot looks fine to me. Way to answer Big Blue, and we get the ball back first in 2nd half.
  16. NY Giants

Grrr, I hate the Eagles. Hopefully we put up some more points before halftime.
  17. NY Giants

Ugggg, Brandon Jacobs fumble. Can't we have one game where we don't shoot ourselves in the foot?
  18. Pennington, Garcia or Kitna

Thx for replying to mine. I'd go with Kitna here. I still don't trust Garcia (even though I don't have any better options myself). Giants D is improving and Meadowlands can be tough for QBs. I don't trust Pennington either with his lack of arm strength and the Jets new running game. Kitna has a good matchup and should be throwing even more with Harris out. I'd go Kitna first, then Chad, then Jeff.
  19. I'm in the playoffs and I need some QB help. Here's who I can start (1pt /25pas yds, -2pt/int, 1pt/10rsh): Jeff Garcia @ NYG Matt Leinert vs DEN Ben Roethlisberger @ CAR Jason Campbell @ NO Trent Green @ SD I'm leaning towards Big Ben or Matt. Ben probably gets Ward back, and both of Carolina's starting corners are hurt. Leinert has been pretty good the last couple of weeks, and Denver is just reeling. My other choice might be Garcia, but at the Meadowlands isn't a great matchup. Plus I'm a Giants fan, and it would kill me to start him, but I will if that's the clear cut choice. Any help is appreciated. You answer mine, I'll answer yours while I'm on.
  20. WDIS at QB?

I have the same exact problem in my league. I can also start Leinert and Campbell. I made a similar post, and the concensus seemed to be Garcia. Personally I liked Big Ben b/c he gets Ward back, and both Panthers starting corners are hurt (might not even play). So I'm on the fence now between Garcia and Big Ben, but the majority here seem to like Jeff.
  21. Who's starting Branch?

Thx for your reply, but I had signed off for a bit. I would've sat Branch and started Andre, if that helps any at this point.
  22. Thx for your response to my post. As for yours, I would go with Andre Johnson. I see the Pats blowing them out, meaning junk yards and tds for Andre. I have no faith in Rex Grossman, and I'm not sure if they'll even be passing by halftime. And I know Walker has a good matchup, but he hasn't done much since Cutler took over. So my pick is Andre (even more so if it's PPR).
  23. PLEASE HELP

Even with Dallas D, I like Dunn if he's healthy enough. If he's out or clearly limited, then I might pick up Harris and use him. I think he and Jennings are mediocre options, so I'd go with a starting RB over a WR in the flex. He should be able to pick up a junk TD against GB defense, plus he'll get those receiving yards that any RB will get under Martz. Either way, I definitely wouldn't go with Gonzo.
  24. QB help for playoffs

    bump....I'll answer yours.
  25. Pick 1 of 2 RBs...

Can't go wrong with either. I'd probably lean towards Jamal since Deuce loses carries/plays to Reggie. Plus Baltimore D will ensure Baltimore is playing with the lead all game, meaning more Jamal time. Please respond to mine.
