  1. S. Smith or Fitzgerald

I'd say Smith unless they start Basanez this week. If they start Basanez, then go Fitz. Here's why: 1. Stud extraordinaire 2. Can break a short pass anytime (Fitz is not so likely) 3. Average Carolina running game 4. Gets rushing yards w/ reverses 5. I think they'll be playing from behind 6. Carter has been respectable lately, possibly less double coverage
  2. WDIS

Benson, for the reasons below; I posted this in a response to someone else's question. Parker may have 80 total yards, but I doubt a TD. Baltimore stops the run first and usually does so. See LT's game this year. Chi's D hopefully rebounds and kills Det drives, thus increasing Chi time of possession and overall clock killing rushing attempts for Chi RBs with Benson as the primary beneficiary. Also, Det has been giving away rushing TDs like candy lately, although last week was to #2 RB (Morency), not to #1 RB (Green)
  3. McGahee / Benson / Dayne

McGahee - tons of touches vs poor run D, but TEN overall getting better. Losman has been hitting on all cylinders. I think this is a Buffalo 2 TD game, possibly 2 passing or 1 passing 1 Def. Benson - starting RB. How much will he split with Peterson? Will it matter as Chi D hopefully rebounds and kills Det drives, thus increasing Chi time of possession and overall clock killing rushing attempts for Chi RBs with Benson as the primary beneficiary. Also, Det has been giving away rushing TDs like candy lately, although last week was to #2 RB (Morency), not to #1 RB (Green) Dayne - good overall recent performance, but the team has been struggling on offense. Indy is back to being the sackmaster extraordinare Def it has known to be after last weeks performance. This doesn't bode well for long drives or scoring points. I see a few 2nd & 3rd & longs which may bring Lundy into more action. I doubt Hou scores more than 2 OFF TDs. Maybe one will be rushing, but if coming from behind, both may be passing. Overall, I like Benson > McGahee = Dayne
  4. Who is the better flex option this week?

I don't think TDs are that easy to predict, particularly when dealing with average or subpar offenses (i.e. Houston). However, Dayne will get goaline touches against a weak run D if available. Additionally, you can right him down for 60 yards for sure. The same may not be true for any WR, particularly Cotchery although WRs can go bananas and give you the points lack you need. I think it's Dayne for 6-16 pts vs Cotchery (on a good day) for 12 -18. I like Dayne for dependable scoring as most decent RBs over average WRs in this situation, particularly given the matchup. Dayne it is for me
  5. Stevens or Vernon Davis?

I agree w/ Jet Fan Mike. I think Davis can & will line up at WR at times. I'm starting him in the championship game over Desmond Clark (Chi @ Det) even after Clark's career game last week. I think Davis is due to go off - BIG.
  6. I am in the championship game in my league. We start 2 RBs & a flex (RB/WR/TE), which by for me is an RB. I have loaded up on RBs this year to play per matchup. Help me pick 3 to start. I currently am starting: -------------------------- Shaun Alexander vs SD Mike Bell vs Cin Dominic Rhodes @ Hou Other options on my team: ------------------------------ Droughns vs TB Sammy Morris vs Jets Cedric houston @ Miami Norwood vs Carolina Fargas vs KC Thanks in advance
