  1. I don't care so much about the undefeated part, but it would be icing on the cake. To me the best superbowl I've seen was the Giants v.s. Bills, the fact that it was a makeable field goal thatwas missed really amped up the juices
  2. When you bleed a teams colors it makes it hard to see clearly sometimes. That said, this team has shown streaks of greatness...and streaks that are normally in underwear. Does that mean they are talented, but don't play hard? Or not talentedenough? Or not well coached? Each person is going to seee it a little different based on their own opinions. To me it's a shared blame. JJ needs to stay the heck out of the football side, he already cost the team a super bowl in the 90's by running Johnson out of town. Wade, IMO, isn't a superbowl coach, never has been and likely won't be. Garret..nope uh uh. Players.....some lack the heart...you can see them not trying on some plays, it's like they are just joggning along side a blocker so it looks like they are trying. If JJ hires a real GM, and then a strong coach, they can turn this around quickly..until then we will suffer these type of seasons.
  3. Sorry to say but it's Detroit hands down. Opposing QB's have their best game of their career everytime they face Detroit....RB's can run at will, and run over Foote, Peterson and the entire J.V. def line. Hell, they lost to St. Louis at home...and needed a prayer to beat Cleveland..i mean puleaze....
  4. Ok, I am a Cowboys fan, but I live in Detroit area so I will give the Detroit update. 1st Stafford - Looks like he may be a legitimate starting QB. All reports here say he owns the huddle and the team is with him, unlike Joey Harrington who was never respected here. Has thrown a lot of int's but that's to be expected. IMO they should have taken Raji or J. Smith 1st Pettigrew - Showed some real signs of improvement, had a couple of nive performances before an injury shortened the season. IMO should have taken Oher 2nd - L. Delmas - looks like a solid pick. Has made some serious hits and good plays 3rd Levy - Starting as a OLB now due to injury, jury is still out Rest of draft...who knows at this point Dallas draft WHO CARES! WE TRADED FOR ROY WILLIAMS AFTER KNOWING HE WANTED TO PLAY FOR US AND COULD HAVE SIGNED HIM AS A FREE AGENT ANYWAY!!!
  5. If you don't start Rice against Detroit you should be banished from any fantasy league forever. After that i'd say Mendenhall
  6. Have to agree...definitely Carson Palmer...Minn run def is too stout. The rest of the lline up looks good.
  7. This string and the Slaton to IR finished my season. Drafted Forte 7th overall and Slaton around 16th....both (along with Greg Jennings my 3rd pick) have been huge busts.
  8. Just the capper on my season. They are saying that the spine injury is causing numbness in his hands, which could lead to tehe fumbling. Lucky me, I had him and Forte, and the over hyped Greg Jennings, my top 3 picks...needless to say i am not in the playoffs.
  9. Whoops...there is the old T.O. mention his name in here and he went back to irrelevant
  10. Probably the wierdest post i have seen here in my short time. This situation is a clear cut definition of collusion, couln't be any more obvious. Now, that said, if it was a joke i would have done it too, just for the laugh. Fecal Pant was best....i assumeit's = turd breath? Is he a gymnast with spelling issues? Cuz it's also Feat Plant
  11. The rule should simply be modified. Teams locked out of the playoffs can only pick up players after all remaining teams have had their pick. This keeps teams who are out of it from hurting the other teams, and if you suffer that injury you can still pick up a needed player after they have all had a shot at him.
  12. I'm with you...Jets/Bills free...but how many of us are looking at T.O. right now?
  13. Good...it's nice to hear from people with more common sense. Started questioning myself on the trade after...but nah..uh uh. Rice scored more this week than Well and Carter combined so all's good.
  14. I am doing poorly in my main league, 10 team with IDP. I traded C. Wells(RB) and Andre Carter(DL) for Ray Rice. I saw Rice as being much more consistant with high value. I know the tough schedule he has but he is more dependable than Wells, who has an easy playoff schedule. I decided to gamble to try to make the playoffs and i believe i made the right move, but got dissed a little in our message board afterward. I now have Forte and Rice as my RB's and Slaton as my back up. My DL's are now Uminyora and D Dockett....any comments good or bad are welcome. The week before i also traded Mendenhall even up for Sims-Walker
  15. I am loving this as much this year as i did last year. I took Warner both years, relatively cheap and he continues to perform for me. This year i even had an owner say he would draft Leinert over Warner...couldn't believe he said it, and worse a couple of others agreed with him. Unfortunately, that idiot is in 1st and i am in 7th, my studs fizzled and a couple of his late picks blossomed...oh well.
