LOL, Actually gonna keep him in the line up, could this be the week? Frankly, if he can't get action against the Giants, then us Bowe owners need to look elsewhere. It's week four. Hooray!

Cowboyz, do you have any standings for this contest put together? I would be interested to see how we all stand ...TIA

I think we all should have known that Alex Smith does not target his WRs much. Bowe's new contract blinded some of us into thinking that they would use him more. In typical Bowe fashion, one out of four weeks will be good. Good luck trying to figure out which week that will be.

Bass is was put on IR today. We are getting awfully thing on the Dline. We can't afford anymore players going down. Praying for a break Geeezzzz. Looks like Rayford a 6' 7" 270 knuckle dragger with 36" reach will play some tackle inside. The kid led the league in sacks during the preseason. Indy fans were upset they let him go for a conditional draft pick. Played in the Arena League. Hope he is all they say he is. We could use some new talent on Dline with Rat hurt.
Man sure sad we lost Brent. The kid was on his way to being a force. Sad that he is now facing prison for killing his best friend and teammate in a car accident.
To me, it's Spencer we are gonna miss. I am anxious to see how Spencer and Ware play DE.

I woke up way too early ... now I have to make sure to take a nap this afternoon so that I can stay up for the entire game.

Not sure what to do with Jacoby, here. Have him in a 16 team league, so it's not like there is someone waiting to replace the numbers on waivers. However, Dallas Clark and Marlon Brown are both available. Just not sure what happens when Jones comes back and never really planned on starting any of them anyway.

This might be our year to finally win a home game against Eli !!!

That ain't nothing but Ultra Perm ... His momma call him Clay, I call him Clay ... What is that, velvet?

Now owners have to think about the possibility of gambling on him. The only problem with that is if he is healthy enough to dress, then how much of a split would there be if both he and Tate get carries. It could be that neither would warrant a start compared to the other backs you could pick, instead. I am hoping that 21st century medicine and a few more weeks rest make a big difference.

Really like JT's Off-Tackle article

Our contract with Direct Tv expires every August, so that I can bargain a little. Today, I called and got NFL for half off and an extra $35/month off my bill in the form of a coupon. Basically, for the 4 months of NFL Ticket payments my bill stays the same and the last 8 months of my contract my bill will be $35 less than usual. Boils down to free NFL Ticket and then $35 off my last 8 months of my 1 year contract.

7 not a problem for me, if a PPR league. And I have no problem with drafting WRs early, b/c they tend to be more consistently scoring in PPR leagues. I also feel that those RBs who catch alot of passes are usually available througout the draft (from Forte to Reggie Bush all the way to Vereen, to mention a few). Top WR heavy teams can dominate PPR leagues

Is this injury that serious? All I see is that he may miss the 2nd pre-season game (insert Iverson practice rant).

Well, God Bless You.

God bless us Cowboy fans if the 'Skins win the division again. I say "No Way"

Now I know who Irish is taking with the 4th pick in BLNY
I think T Rich is Emmitt Smith in the making, although T Rich's shoulder injury came premature compared to Emmit's (ability wise, not stats). Now that Norv is there, I like T Rich to be solid for awhile.

As per BoTH leagues ... 'tis the season for dice rolls, picking draft order slots and in the case of 32 Homers, picking your stud player. I love it!!!
-
Alot of depth at RB for Dallas.

Nice calls here. Tate is in a make-or-break season if you ask me. His numbers took a nice leap last season but with Rice/Harvin going to miss time (more than likely), he should improve on last year's numbers. Sounds like the coaching staff is going to use him on shorter passing plays rather than just the bomb, which should help in PPR formats.
The big thing on Fleener (and Luck for that matter) is the Colts' hiring of their old OC from Stanford, Pep Hamilton. Could be a breakout year for Fleener, who looked like the 2nd best rookie TE for the Colts last season.
I like Williams but he'd be a hit-or-miss kind of guy as his true value would be in the deep passing game.
Your reading comprehension continues to amaze.
E2A: Funny that LorDOPEY would "like" your post. Morans.
What about DeAndre Hopkins, WR HOU (1st round pick)?
-
Deep Sleepers -
Golden Tate. Both Harvin and Rice seem to always have health issues. Wilson and Tate connected on some big plays last year.
What about Fleener, TE IND? It should be time he and Luck reconnect their Standford ways.
Real Deep Sleepers -
Terrence Williams, Dallas WR. Deep leagues only - however, all it takes is an injury to Miles or Dez and he will be thrust into the spotlight.
If DeMarco Murray goes down, Lance Dunbar would actually get more touches than Randle ®, IMO. He already has one year with the system under his belt, he knows his blocking assignments, can catch and has breakaway ability.
