I've been around here long enough to see when new people have shown up, Tools were born. Some of those newbies have become the standard now.
When you have people co-existing, you need rules. That goes with forums and in the real world. Otherwise I would've killed a few dudes ahead of me in the Subway Line today and nobody would've cared. But unfortunately, there are rules against that so I waited in the line instead. Same thing on the highway. Speeding to some is driving 57 in a 55 while others might think more like 98 would be in order. If you're on the same road, you need to follow some guidelines. Sometimes those speed limits are posted along the road just in case you don't remember the rules.
Why do all the black Asian women drive slow in the left lane on the interstate?

I thought that this was going to be about the Ralph Macchio vehicle from 1996.
Sorry, but you are a decade off. I know my Macchio movies.

We havent done this in a while. For those that arent familiar. You post a movie quote and then the first person to answer it correctly gets to post their quote. Dont post a quote unless you have correctly answered one
Here we go. One of my favorites. An absolute classic
Are we cross ? What an ugly thing to say. If I thought you weren't my friend, I just don't think I could bear it.
whomp, yer my huckleberry. Tombstone
I'm just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her.

As our tiebreaker, we use fewist number of fingers because if a team with fewer digits can score the same number of points as an able bodied team then they should win. It sure made those Ronnie Lott led defenses in the 80's a must pick.

There is better bbq than stubbs. If I only had 1 meal in Austin I'd make it Franklins or Mueller's.

By the way, we bought a book which recommends for Universal, that you get in line about 30 minutes before the park opens (especially if you are going to try to get into Harry Potter World).
Similar to the book for WDW. The parks all do a show at the opening which the kids enjoy and some rides (Soaring @ Epcot, Toy Story @ Hollywood Studios) will have a 45 min wait if you get there 10 minutes after opening.

We will be staying at the Disney site for 5 days. Decided to get the meal plan for simplicity sake.
Anyone have recommendation on where to eat onsite? What about offsite? We are staying at the Nickelodeon hotel for the other 4 days.
I can't recommend enough the book I mentioned above. It reviews every restaurant and helped us get much better value than we otherwise would have. With the meal plan, you get certain items like an entree, side, drink and dessert. The book told us exactly what that would include at each restaurant so we didn't have to walk into each one and try to figure it out on the fly. It also gives great advice on which character meals to do. By the way, you'll need to make reservations as far in advance as possible for many of the character meals.

Where do you buy a Fast pass? Can you use it everywhere?
You don't buy them, you get them from kiosks for certain rides. There are rules on how often you can get them, I think it is every 2 hours and each ride only offers a certain number each day.

How old are the kids? We went 18 months ago with our 4 kids, then aged 3,5,7,9 and they each enjoyed different things. We took them out of school and lines were still longer than I thought they would be. We stayed on Disney property and didn't go to Universal Studios. Even though we were there for a week, I'm glad we didn't try to anything else. If you search for threads on here, you'll find some good info as a few people go regularly. If you want to maximize your time at Disney, buy the book "The Unofficial Guide to Disney World". It reviews every park restaurant, let's you know what the best deals are, helps you with ride strategy so you minimize your time in line, etc.
Also, while you are there, make sure you download a line wait time app for your phone so you can easily tell how long waits are.

Be ready for the highschool punks to come by tonight with grass killer and spray it on your lawn. In about a week you and everyone else will clearly be able to read some derogatory word in it.
Congrats.

Haha yea I read about the ancient greek mentoring going on around here. So i guess the question is: Does this kind of mentoring guarantee fantasy victory?
It guarantees Big Country's fantasy coming true. Same thing?

I think you'd be much better off taking Graham than any of the others with the possible exception of Fitz.

Why only looking at receivers? Are any of the top QB's out there or a second RB? If a TE mandatory league with PPR, you could look there also.

I going to be pissed if my grocery store starts doing this.

My guess is 3-4 hours. I know you didn't ask for comments, but I'll give you one anyways, I'd really suggest you change the format of your auction. Our league tried going around the table once and we didn't even make it through the entire auction before we changed to open outcry. Even without an outside auctioneer it is not unmanageable and it is much more fun. Many owners enjoy hanging back and not bidding until the end. Just my $0.02. Good luck.

Does the school have trophies or plaques displayed that they will have to give back?
Actually, Wikipedia already went by and took those back this morning also.

Love the divine interception comment. He must be a Raiders fan.

If I didn't take offense I don't see why anyone else should.
I take offense to this.

I've heard of this thing called the internets, and they say you actually sign up for sites like The Huddle using such a thing. I've never used the internets in this way but I have some really smart friends that have and say it works like a charm.
Honestly? This is your response?

You'll be a long way away from where that snake was killed; 1,258 miles according to Mapquest.
TX is big, but not that big.
-
Where is that? I'll be hunting next weekend down near Bracketville and I sure hope I don't come across any of those.

I used to drink crude oil... but it gave me gas.
