  1. J. Harrington to K.C.?

09/02 19:55 Lions: Garcia gets hurt THE NEWS Lions quarterback Jeff Garcia left Friday's preseason game against the Bills in the first quarter with a sprained left ankle. The injury occurred while he was being tackled from behind on a scramble. Our View This play is an example of why the league now outlaws the collar tackles that Roy Williams made famous. If Garcia has to miss a lot of time, expect the Lions to acquire a veteran quarterback because their current third-stringer is rookie Dan Orlovsky From Fanball. Yeah looks like they won't want to ship off Harrington now...
  2. J. Harrington to K.C.?

Bombs Away (since you live in KC) or anyone else...please let us know when you know more about this trade "rumor". Very interesting...very interesting
  3. Free IDP Fantasy Advice

Thanks Darin! (sorry about the slip of the finger on the name) Yeah, I can't believe I got all those guys either. It was a real question and I appreciate your quick response. Thanks for the reply, I was having a hard time between Barber and Polamalu.
  4. Free IDP Fantasy Advice

Thanks for starting this agian Drain. You helped me abunch last year on deciding wdis in my IDP league. As you can see (see sig. for team) my D is absolutely stacked. Me out drafting the others in my league, knowing the importance of a solid D. I start 2 D spots (either DB/DL) 2 DL (includes LB) 2 DB, so six total def players. Which 6 would you start? Thanks.
  5. Free Fantasy Advice - Week 1

(See team info in sig.) 3 questions. Would you start Caddy or Willie Parker at a flex spot? Who would you start at the other flex (wr/te) from the list below? B. Lloyd G. Lewis A. Bryant T. Taylor or pick up M. Jenkins/ T. Calico / Reggie Williams for one of those guys and start him? Thanks Hugh. Clad you are doing this again. Always appreciate the help.
  6. #2 pick in 10 team league.

I agree. Take Alexander. Grab a backup rb/teir 1 wr and qb on the next pass though
  7. Suggs or M. Moore

Who would you rather have? M. Moore looked to be on his way to the starting lineup, now Bennett still (possibly) the starter, a tweaked ankle, I still think he is the better back though. L. Suggs injured yet again. W. Green tearing it up last night, Droughns in the wings. A RBBC cluster f*ck IMO. Who would you rather have on your bench?
  8. He is looking better and better and would you consider him a 4th WR in a 10man league? 4 catches, 72 yds, 1TD. Can he keep that up in reg season?
  9. Thoughts on G. Lewis (WR-PHI)

Avernus, that's what I was thinking and I appreciate your comments. I saw there was a post about TO tweaking the ol' groin...we'll see.
  10. Mewelde Moore sprains ankle

It's the same ankle from last year that took like 5/6wks to heal. "It was just a pop...an adjustment"-Moore. Let's hope so.
  11. Mewelde Moore sprains ankle

I like your thinking J. Neutron, just picked up M. Moore off of WW.
  12. Thoughts on G. Lewis (WR-PHI)

Yeah, I agree Brown (the Child and Family Development grad)has the stats from college (I'm a FLA grad so I saw him up close at the Cocktail Party) and the potential is there, but will Brown be able to use it and move to the 2 spot that's currently occupied by Lewis. It's a gamble and if I was in a keeper league Brown would be on the rader if not on my bench. I appreciate the comments guys.
  13. kevin curtis or troy williamson

I like Curtis better than Williamson at this point.
  14. Thoughts on G. Lewis (WR-PHI)

I asked this question b/c he is on the WW and just didn't know if he would be worth the pickup, since, as mentioned above, anyone opposite TO is going to put up some #'s and as a 4th or 5th WR on my team, I'm thinking he could at least be a good rotation into the 4th spot or on a bye week filler. Thoughts? Brown has looked good and may be a hit and miss, but I am already putting that gamble on Re. Williams (JAX). Is Brown better than Williams? Don't know.
  15. IDP advice needed

honestly, I would read up on in the draft guide on the front page for IDP rankings, print that off and review and then take a look at the mock of an IDP league, Mock Draft #12. Personally, I had Donnie Edwards, Ray Lewis, Keith Bullock ranked high, going in late 3rd through the 4th round. Usually idp start going when backup rb's are being chosen, but it also depends how the other members of your league are playing. Since it is your first time, maybe you want to wait until someone else takes their first IDP an then adjust from there, but LB are usually the $ in IDP.
  16. Bryant or Edwards

I know no one really cares, but I do. Just pick who you think will be th most valuable in FF. Thank you kindly.
  17. Bryant or Edwards

Would you drop either one for T. Taylor?
  18. Is Re. Williams (WR-Jac) worth keeping over any of these guys? T. Taylor (WR-Min) Brandon Jones (WR-Ten) T. Calico (WR-Ten Matt Jones (WR-Jac) M. Jenkins (WR-ATL) Willie Parker (RB-PIT)
  19. RB's

The more you provide to us "the forum" the better educated we can be on your particular situation or question. like how misfit said "If your league gives reception points, though, absoultely take Portis." and I agree with this, but I am assuming your league is not points per recpetion because you have not said it was. The more info you can provide about the settings to your league, who is on your roster, etc...the better you can be helped here. And welcome to FF!
  20. @ 10 th overall...How risky is Portis?

at 10 I would expect Dillion, Lewis, both Jones, Moss, a whole slew of people to be there. I have Portis ranked 2.6 in my 10 man leagues. I would get any of the above before Portis and since you will be picking shortly thereafter you can grab another quality WR/RB. But as mentioned here already if Deuce is there, that would be a steal.
  21. RB's

I would keep R. johnson then.
  22. The Jones's

I agree with Zooty. If there is someone better, or should I say proven, I would grab them and one of the Jones boys, but if I had both I would still be very happy. I've seen J. Jones go as high as 1.4 (absurd) and as late as 3.7 (crazy) so you never know who will be there...but to answer your ?, if they were both my starting rb's and I had a solid all around team I would be quite happy.
  23. RB's

depends on the rest of your team, ppr, etc...but as just RB vs. RB I like Portis better, but I think R. Johnson will do better this year. Depending on the rest of your team, I would make the trade.
  24. Who would you get here at 3. 10 man league QB, WR, WR, WR, RB, RB, TE, K, DEF, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN Stat Categories: Passing Yards (50 yards per point) Passing Touchdowns (6) Interceptions (-2) Rushing Yards (20 yards per point) Rushing Touchdowns (6) Reception Yards (20 yards per point) Reception Touchdowns (6) Return Touchdowns (6) 2-Point Conversions (2) Fumbles Lost (-2) Offensive Fumble Return TD (6) Field Goals 0-19 Yards (3) Field Goals 20-29 Yards (3) Field Goals 30-39 Yards (3) Field Goals 40-49 Yards (4) Field Goals 50+ Yards (5) Point After Attempt Made (1) Sack (1) Interception (2) Fumble Recovery (2) Touchdown (6) Safety (2) Block Kick (2)
  25. Huddler Expert Input

Your team looks REAL nice. Your set at every off position and Ol' Donnie is an amzing IDP and with Vilma, Fletcher and Arrington...you should be set on D. I don't know how the Saints are on ST, but your team look real solid. Hope you win the Big Bucks!
