Huddlers, having problem with schedule

I dont' know what seems to be the problem but here it is....

I have 12 teams with 4 divisions of 3 teams and i've used 4 different scheduler software to set the lines up. With a 12 team 4 division you "should" have each team in a division playing each other twice and every other team once.

The problem i'm having is that I have one divison where one team only players one other team from the divison twice and the last team only once. I can't seem to figure this out. I'm getting ticked off. I've run the math but it always comes back to this problem.

Any suggestions at all? Or is this the way it is?

Thanks

There would be 9 non-division and 4 division per each team.

Trying to figure out what the problem is.

Divisions A-D, 1-3 per division.

sample (line spaces in to derive my pattern)

week 1: A1-A2, B1-B2, C1-C2, D1-D2, A3-B3, C3-D3

week 2: A1-A3, B1-B3, C1-C3, D1-D3, A2-B2, C2-D2

week 3: A2-A3, B2-B3, C2-C3, D2-D3, A1-B1, C1-D1

Does the fact that you have an odd number in each division and an odd number not in your own division cause problems?

No, the other years we've never had a problem with it. Unless we overlooked it and didn't notice it.
