Guggs
I have a draft coming up. Non-keeper. It's a non-live draft online that's why we are starting it already. Anyway, I have the #5 pick. I have never in all my years of fantasy football taken a QB with my first pick. I always figure RB's are hard to come by and I usually go with an RB. Not to brag, but I usually do pretty well in my leagues by waiting to take QB's later in the draft. I have seen Manning ranking 4 or 5 etc. Do I take him if he is there at 5 assuming LT, The Edge, S. Alexander, and Holmes are gone? Is Manning worth breaking my round 1 rule on QB's?

Sigalf03
Well if you go peyton you are looking at RB westbrook, jackson, martin RB Green, Bell, or 1 of the rookies WR clayton, ward, boldin I personally would go with Duece, Portis, or lewis, whatever your preference is, I just would hate to take the hit in RB and have my #1 WR be one of the above listed

SLGRAF
I'd take Manning. At #16 and #25, you should be able to snag two solid RBs. And, I think even though Manning's numbers will drop from last year, he is still the best fantasy QB by a wide margin, given Culpepper lost Moss, and McNabb is on such a good team, he will not have to pass a ton for the Eagles to win games. Adrenaline
I'd take him there, I doubt he'll still be there though.
Splat
I think that you have to take him if he is there at #5. His points production day in and day out will out score most RB's points and till still will not be that much of a drop to that next RB. wanderer
I would "gamble" on him as well. There is something to be said for being able to draft a guy and then completely forget about the position until late for a backup. I have even been considering drafting Manning before Holmes. Last season wasn't so much fun in the second half without my first round pick! Good luck.
Avernus
with 4 pts a passing TD and in a 12 team league to boot (if it was 6 pts a TD...I'd go Manning)...I'd go Deuce here...
mamaboy
I am in the same boat, I have never drafted a QB in the first or even second round, but this is the year to take a risk, I don't think his number will decline much
