JO-E
Okay here is my situation........ I have the 10th pick in a ten team league... which means I've got the 11th pick also... Here is my decision with the 10th pick.... it will be J.Lewis or C.Portis if one is available.. if both are then I will take both with the 11th pick Most likely Lewis will be gone and I should have a pick on Portis at 10 but if he is not there then that means a top 9 player fell to 10 in which case I will take that player at 10... so my 10th pick is already decided basically with my 11th pick I am trying to decided inbetween Corey Dillion and D.Davis? who do you take at 11th? Clubfoothead
I like Dillon best but Davis is going higher in virtually every mock I've seen. See what other here think.
cliaz
Normally I'd go with proven back, dillon is a good back. But in this case, I'd say D.D. He is going to have a great year this year. Personally either which way, both a good #2 backs to have, dillon will be steady but D.D. has the chance to put up monster games. Butkus
I think cliaz is spot on. Dillon = nice consistency, DD = potential for large numbers one game and average/below average #'s the next. The kicker may be your scoring rules. If your league rewards additional points for: receptions length of TD receiving yards then DD may be your man.... JO-E
My league scoring for rb's 1pt= 10 rushings yards 1pt= 10 receiving yards 6pts= rushing or receiving tds
Adrenaline
I'd go with Dillon if he is still there. He's on a good team that will run often. I'd even take Dillon before Portis. Edited August 1, 2005 by Adrenaline
Balzac
Very tough call. Dillon is the horse in NE, so he's probably the safer bet - but DD has some serious skills and they like to get him the ball at least 20 times per game. He had a slow stretch last year, but that was only b/c he had a bad ankle during that time. That said, I think Dillon is the safer bet to stay healthy, so I'd probably go with him. If you had PPR in this league, I'd lean towards DD.
blaw23
I would proabably go Davis, although Dillon is probably the safer pick. Davis has been hurt at some point each of his 3 seasons. Although he has more potential to put up big numbers from game to game with his recpetions factored in.
EZDoesit
DD gets significant receiving and rushing yardage....if that counts in your league, go with the Double D......
sundaynfl
Double D is the only weapon the Texans have really ever had, so I would pick him...
Favreforlife
D Davis
wildbluefan
If you get 1 pt per reception, go with DD ! If not, go with CD !
Grimm74
Id go will DD. I think Dillon is somewhat safer but DD upside is much better b/c he is involved in the passing game so much.
Ralph Furley
Take DD and enjoy the show. The guy was great last year. The receptions are an added bonus with this guy.
JO-E
so I guess that means DD....... any more comments?
Avernus
Dillon has an easy schedule this year and he's in a balanced offense... The texans have Johnson, Carr and DD...and he's also very injury prone... I personally dislike DD as I watched him on a team in my league down the stretch and he was unproductive, coming off his injury... I lump him with Chris Brown in the injury prone class...but Brown is like 2 notches worse
Tboogs
I would have to go with Dillon here fellas...Dillon had 9 games were he rushed over 100yds and DD had 4 games were he rushed over 100yds...I think Dillon is on a better all around team and will benefit from that.
