HeatSeeker
Okay....I've done the LAG Analysis and here's what I came up with. Our league has created somewhat of a balanced scoring system...10 teams, 1qb, 2rb, 2 wrs, 1 te, k, d and flex is your choice of rb, wr, te. Scoring is 6 points for tds including passing. WR get a pt per reception, and rb get 1 pt every 2 recpt (we tried to make wr's a little more valuable so you have to think who to draft instead of the rb grab every draft) QB - TOP 3 AVG 368 4 TO 10 AVG 247 RB - TOP 3 AVG 277 4 TO 10 AVG 228 11 TO 20 AVG 179 WR - TOP 3 AVG 239 4 TO 10 AVG 217 11 TO 20 AVG 178 Most likely if I take Manning 1, I will get rb 14 or 15 and then rb 17ish, and wr 10 Those 4 picks would score about 960 pts in our system RB 1 first, with RB 17ish and then a wr I think Culpepper, McNabb, Owens, Moss, and Harrison will be off the board at 20...possibly Holt or Chad Johnson...so other than rb there could be a minimum of 5 and a max of 6/7 players off the board If I take RB1 and then RB 14 WR 6 and QB 7....those 4 picks would score about 935 points It seems that I should go that route if you believe Manning throws 40+ tds again. If Manning is his reliable self, it seems to make sense to pick him 1 in our scoring system, and take the guaranteed points. I've never taken a QB 1.....so Tomlinson looks good. That's what I would normally do, but Manning is tempting. Opinions appreciated.
Skinsfan24
With 6 pts for a passing TD, I'd think you have to go Manning. There might be more QBs gone than usual in the first two rounds so you might have a better than expected RB fall to you.
