wanderer
8-team league starting 2QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1K, 1D. Rushing/Receiving points are: 1pt/10 yards and 6pts/TD. Passing points are 1pt/25 yards and 3pts/TD. No deductions for INTs, or fumbles. Drafting in the 3rd spot - I took Manning in the first (LT and Alexander were gone). It is now my turn in the second and the only nonRBs selected thus far are Manning (me), Culpepper, and Moss. My pick in the third and I am debating between going with the last stud QB in McNabb or a safe RB in Dillon on Ahman Green. I figure I can still get a tier 1 WR on the swing so I can wait until the third to draft my first WR. Do you think it better to get the stud in McNabb - seeing as how an 8-team league requires as many studs as possible. Or should I go the safe route and pick up a RB. If I go RB/WR in 2/3 who knows what will be left in the 4th. Thanks.
NavinRJohnson
You'll have plenty of QBs to compliment Manning later. Definitely, grab a RB now!

SLGRAF
Take the best available RB in the 2nd round. In your league, QBs and RBs are equally scarce, but, you already have one QB.
lynch
3 point passing TD. That makes it tough to grab a QB early. I would def go after a RB now and maybe in the 3rd as well.
Dirty Weasel
Do the ballsy thing and take another QB early. At 6 pts per TD pass, let's do some projections here: Manning (40 TD's) + McNabb (30 TD's) = 70 TD's x 6 pts = 420 pts The average duo that everyone else will have: Green (28 TD's) + Plummer (25 TD's) = 53 TD's x 6 pts = 318 pts That's a 17 TD advantage over the rest of the league. What RB's will that leave you with? With picks 19 and 30 you will probably be looking at RB14 and RB23. Will the owners who went RB/RB in rounds 1 and 2 be able to make up that QB lead you would have on them? Come up with your own projections and your answer will surface. Good luck

It drops the gap between those two sets of QB in haf and creates even more parity at QB. Which should push you toward RB and WR where the points are greater. Do your own projections and then decide if it's worth it to nab McNabb.
