cdj7k
hey guys, i am in an eight player keeper league. standard perfomance scoring. i kept: r moss c johnson e james mcallistar d davis s jackson gonzalez BAL def i made some 2 for 1 trades last year after i was out of playoff hunt that helped stack the RB and WR postions. so i want to grab a QB with my first pick. i will pick seventh overall, but the guys ahead of me all have at least one QB so i expect to have first QB pick of leftovers. these are the guys who have been kept: manning culpepper mcnabb bulger green hasselback palmer plummer brady that has me believing it is between favre and collins. i am 50-50 right now, with the belief that favre is the safer play, but collins and moss combo has me wanting to go that way. what do you all think? thanks
SLGRAF
I'd take Favre.
Ralph Furley
Favre. Any chance of making a trade to get a better QB?

Donutrun Jellies
Take Brett ... and I like the idea of packaging him with one of your RBs to move up in the QB, if you only start 2 RBs ... if you start 3, be happy with BF ...
rhippens
i would take brett. collins will do better with moss, but moss won't keep him from throwing a ton of interceptions like he does every season. brett will throw his share too, but he won't kill drives as many times as collins. go with brett, he is a proven consistent winner. Roo
You could also take a chance on Vick, but that is probably just as risky, if not more so, as Collins. Favre is the most proven, and has talented WRs, so go with him. Worst case scenario you pick up Brees or Delhomme later on anyway.
cdj7k
thanks for the input. yes i think i could trade for another QB (bulger), but he wants wide receivers (palmer, very slight possiblity)and even though i like bulgers schedule a lot, i think him and favre are comparable scoring wise. i will probably wait until after the draft and see what i could do to trade with them. but i really think with the other horses i have, for the loss in a keeper league of these RB's in a trade, it isnt worth it for a comparable QB, except for palmer who is an awesome keeper right now. we do only start 2 runningbacks. if i would seek a trade for palmer, who would you offer? i know the guy would not give anything plus palmer for one of my RB's, so you are looking at a straight across trade and i would say that would only be jackson at this point in their careers and i dont know if he is very high on jackson. whatever you may think of all that , feel free to comment on. peace

I would try to stick it out with what you got and pick a QB .. Favre ain't a bad choice, he wants to prove he can still play .. I also like Brees, he showed some brilliance last year, but some still wonder about him ..
